"I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Dilya Bayjanova and the exceptional work she has done. She performs her job with a very high level of professionalism and dedication. While working at Liv Hospital, she supported us not only as an interpreter, but far beyond that role. She assisted with translation during medical consultations, arranged transportation, scheduled appointments with doctors at Vita, and ensured smooth and effective communication with the medical team at all times. Her involvement made a significant difference in our overall experience. She was organized, proactive, and always attentive to our needs. In many ways, she was the central coordinator of the entire process — I would even describe her as the “brain” behind the operation.I highly recommend her to anyone who needs reliable, professional, and truly supportive assistance."

"I am genuinely surprised by the level of service and lack of basic standards at a hospital in the capital of Turkey. The facility may look acceptable from the outside, but the actual experience is quite concerning. First, for tourists or non-Turkish speakers, communication is a serious issue. No staff member in the emergency department spoke English. An interpreter was eventually provided, but even that assistance was not effective due to limited English proficiency. A general practitioner consultation in the emergency department lasted less than five minutes, without a proper physical examination, including no blood pressure check and no detailed medical history. Despite this, the cost was approximately 200 USD, which is disproportionately high for the level of service provided. More concerning, the doctor did not properly assess whether the condition was viral or bacterial and gave an inappropriate recommendation to “eat ice cream” without a clear medical explanation. Hygiene standards were also below expectations. The doctor did not wear gloves, did not disinfect hands with alcohol, and did not change the bed linens between patients. The hospital bed was unusually high and difficult to access safely. The overall environment was also problematic, with strong odors of food and grease throughout the facility. In addition, several patients were seen resting or sleeping on chairs in the waiting area due to lack of proper accommodation. Overall, the experience raised serious concerns regarding patient care, hygiene, communication, and value for money."

"We came to Türkiye seeking medical care after months of being unable to get a proper diagnosis, and we are very grateful for the care and professionalism we received at the hospital. Our experience started a little rough due to confusion with a translator hired externally by the hospital on a busy day. However, the staff quickly rectified the issue and made it right by arranging a second consultation with a professional medical interpreter, which made a tremendous difference. After reviewing previous medical records, Prof. Dr. Sevilay Oğuz performed her own biopsy and worked closely with the laboratory to confirm the diagnosis. She was thorough, compassionate, and very professional throughout the entire process. Follow-up appointments and treatment were arranged promptly, and the onsite pharmacy was able to compound the necessary medication. Records and billing were also handled clearly and professionally for future reference. Although our stay in Türkiye became longer than expected due to difficulty sourcing medication in Sierra Leone, the support we received was exceptional. A special thank you to John, our interpreter and liaison within the hospital, who went above and beyond by helping with transportation, accommodations, daily biopsy updates, and answering all our questions quickly and kindly. We also experienced incredible hospitality in Istanbul. The kindness of the people, amazing food, and beautiful surroundings made a stressful medical trip much easier. We are very grateful for the professionalism and care shown by the entire team."

"The staff and doctors were friendly and professional, the hospital was very clean, modern, and well-maintained, and the service was efficient. Prices are high, but that’s expected for a private hospital. The only downside was the cafeteria, the staff weren’t welcoming, and the food quality could definitely be improved."

"I recently had surgery here and everything was first class! Dr Nazli Korkmaz's team made sure everything was set up for me. The international desk staff were amazing and arranged a translator, Alex who was excellent. The room was comfortable and had a locker for my items. Dr Korkmaz performed the surgery, she is the best! Post surgery the food was good and the hospital staff were wonderful. Prescription was available before discharge and aftercare was excellent. A fabulous experience all round."
