"Doctors and Nurses at Emergency Room are SUPER DUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. The way they talk to patients and their body language is off. Attitude and unwilling to help their patient. Also, they talk a lot to each other than helping. They look professional by uniform but the gesture, the approach and treatment are definitely bad."

"Good choice for consultations — the doctors here are skilled and knowledgeable. But if, like in our case, you face an emergency and have limited funds, it’s better to find a different hospital. My husband was brought here for an emergency and was admitted to the ICU. Thankfully, he recovered, but what followed was extremely stressful. When we asked to settle the remaining balance through a promissory note with a guarantor, the hospital refused to accept it. We were later told we could process a DSWD guarantee letter only if we paid ₱100,000 first for “clearance.” When we asked permission to also process assistance from the Office of the President, the hospital again demanded another ₱100,000 in exchange for another “clearance.” Even a demand letter from the DOH was ignored. This entire experience caused severe stress and anxiety, especially to me as the patient’s spouse, who even began to experience chest pains due to the pressure. We believe this is a clear case of hospital coercion and neglect of patients’ rights, especially for those in emergency and financial crisis."
