"The receptionist I spoke to seemed to be in a very angry mood. She was a woman with red hair and glasses and must have been having quite a bad day or something as I saw her shout and be agressive towards literally every person she interacted with, even her colleagues - all of this was totally unprovoked. But it was an uncomfortable atmosphere because of this. It did seem like she was stressed or perhaps even going through some personal troubles so I would encourage MeoClinic to check in with her and even see if she's ok as it was quite a shock to see her interact with patients and staff so negatively without cause. To be fair to the practice, there are also very pleasant staff who work here and the doctors are generally quite nice from my experience. So it's definitely not everyone there. Something to be aware of is this is a private practice, meaning people are paying a premium to come here. I think it's fair to expect that therefore patients should receive high quality customer service and top-notch facilities. I can't complain about the medical facilities in general, it's usually provided me with services or information I needed - it could probably be better too, but it's not the main issue. The problem for me is the varied quality of customer service. I would definitely encourage the MeoClinic team to do a wellness check with the receptionist, maybe she just needs some support or training, but I really think it's not sustainable to have a receptionist with such hostile energy if something like this isn't resolved."

"The €669/€201, 7 minutes with the specialist, booked the same day, was great. The 44 minutes before, with tests totally unrelated to my problem (they hadn't asked my problem yet), was as expensive as it was unnecessary. I'd had the identocal tests elsewhere a few weeks prior. 23 minutes after the end of my appointment...yep 23 loooonnnng minutes they had my bill ready €669 for 7 minutes. Um, no. Another 6 minutes €201 ... more than half of which was eye tests that I had done weeks ago for nothing at the optometrist...and in the end, my diagnosis...gettin old...like I didn't know 🙃"

"I got an appointment quickly (the next day). I had to wait for 50 min in the waiting room until the doctor called me for the consultation. The doctor's office is modern and well equipped, and the nurses were friendly and professional."

"i love my doctors here but the reception and customer service staff of the phone can actually go to hell. their attitude absolutely stinks outside of very few select people and they never have any helpful information. last time i waited 40 minutes for my appointment and when I ask for updates they seem so bothered. why you employ such unpleasant and miserable people in the most customer facing roles is incomprehensible to me."

She spent 1/2 hour reviewing all of the medical history with us, conducted the examinations herself, and after really listening to us, landed on the suggestion for a diagnosis that places in the US ought to have done, but smugly insisted everything was fine. Her recommendation for additional evaluation in our case was life-changing. We will be eternally grateful to her and the German medical system for setting our family, finally, on the right path.
