"As a pregnant woman, I was forced to use Medicana Clinic after Turkish Airlines refused to accept my valid NHS fit-to-fly letter from my midwife in London, who has followed my entire pregnancy. Instead, they trusted a rushed 5-minute check at the airport clinic, where all they did was take my blood pressure and write a basic report with no knowledge of my history. How can that be more reliable than an official NHS document? I was charged £300 with no proper invoice, no breakdown of the service, and no transparency. I felt completely taken advantage of. This policy is not only unfair — it’s stupid. It puts unnecessary stress on pregnant women and forces them into overpriced, meaningless checks just to be allowed to fly. Absolutely unacceptable."

"They take advantage of passengers' emergencies to rip them off! $480 for a “medical report” that allows you to fly with a broken leg? One hour before departure, the airline wouldn't let us check in because the medical report we had wasn't in English. They forced us to get a new report at that medical center. The airlines seen to have a deal with this medical center. By the way, this medical center was completely unprofessional! I didn't even get a receipt for the $480! Avoid this doctor and this airport! If you have a disability, get a document in English from a reputable doctor in advance confirming that you are allowed to fly!"

"Predatory pricing, no transparency On 18-09-2025 ~09:25, before an 11:00 flight, my sister was given an antibiotic IV. We were charged 28,000 TL (≈ €576 / ~$680) for a brief consult + IV. They quoted €560, but the amount actually taken from my card was about €576. They did not provide an itemized invoice and credit card not accepted; they pushed a debit transaction. This is an airport-trap pricing with zero transparency. I’m requesting a full itemized bill and a refund/adjustment. "I have visited the airport today with my father on a stretcher medical flight, Halime was welcoming and she helped all the doctors and the nurses with the patient she was wonderful. She went above and beyond with everything and made every effort to support and help us. She made the whole process so easy and provided fantastic support to all the team.
