"Good Morning Every sick person , i suggest go to another emergency room , i took my wife last night at about 11 o clock to Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt hospital. Although staff was friendly , there was no urgency in my opinion , they were only interest in if we can pay although we have a medical aid, they give treatment at about 1 h 30 this morning and kept her there for the night , this morning at about 7 h 30 they phone to come and get her . I must admit that it seem to me that nothing was done as my poor wife still struggling with the same pain or worse, she was admitted for. So please people think twice."

"Dear Mediclinic Louis Leipoldt Hospital Team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the entire team for the outstanding care we received on 10 December 2025, when I rushed my son to the emergency room. He was unconscious at the time, and as a parent it was very scary. Upon arriving at the ER, I hooted once and a security guard, Mr Njemla, immediately ran out with a wheelchair to assist us. At that very moment, my son opened his eyes — thank the Lord. We were rushed inside, where the reception staff assisted quickly. While I was still explaining the situation, a nurse, Mr Irwin Dramat, quickly arrived to attend to my son. He was taken to a bed, and from that point everything unfolded quickly, smoothly, and professionally. Mr Irwin Dramat and Ms Ziyanda Matwa took care for my son, and Dr Nel soon joined them. There after Pathcare, more nursing staff (unfortunatly did not get there names) followed and assisted. Naturally, many questions were asked. As a mother watching her child in that situation, I felt like my entire life came to a stand still. Nurse Dramat remained remarkably calm and composed, gently guiding me through the questions while reassuring and comforting me that everything was under control. When my husband arrived, I returned to the reception area while he spoke with the doctor. The reception team continued to check on me, ensuring that I was okay and reassuring me that my son was receiving excellent care. Once my son was fully alert again, it was truly touching to witness the doctor talking about their very first meeting over a decade ago. Louis Leipoldt ER Team, you genuinely make patients and their families feel as though they are your own. During a highly stressful time, your expertise, calm presence, and kindness were invaluable. Thank you also to Mrs Tersia Stadler for the follow-up phone call the following day. We are forever grateful for the care, compassion, and dedication shown to our family. Regards, Maureen Guba"

"Caring, compassionate, understanding, until you see the doctor. No information, no Care and no explanation. It was really disappointing as my past experience ghat brought me in was good until i got my follow up and it was just rude. Some patients kust want an explanation of whats actually happening to them and not just someone waving them off and not giving them any care or answering any questions that i tried to repeat over and over. always the best front desk staff and the nurses in the ER and not the take in process. despite the not so nice experiences that brought me in. 5/10 doctors 9/10 nurses 10/10 general staff."

"I had an amazing experience at Mediclinic. I’d like to start by thanking Dr Van der Merwe and his receptionist—without them, I wouldn’t have had such a wonderful journey. They are truly excellent at what they do, and I’m so grateful to my colleague who referred me to him. On the day of my delivery, 10 April 2026, I was warmly welcomed by the receptionist, who was very professional. The porter then escorted me to my ward, where the nurses on duty made me feel at ease by clearly explaining everything that would happen. In theatre, I met my anaesthesiologist, Dr Van Zyl, who was incredibly professional and stayed by my side throughout the procedure. The entire theatre team was equally professional and supportive. After surgery, I was taken to the recovery room where the nurse who cared for me was so kind and attentive. I was then returned to my ward, and I must say the staff—both day and night shifts—from 10 to 13 April were absolutely wonderful. This includes not only the nurses, but also the cleaners and kitchen staff, who all contributed to such a positive experience. Thank you to everyone at Mediclinic for your exceptional care ❤️"

"I had 4 very impacted wisdom teeth removed, and it went really well. The doctors and nurses and staff were all incredibly helpful, supportive, and kind. I was treated with utmost respect and care, and never felt unsure or uncomfortable at any point in time. If I were to go back in time and had to choose again, I’d choose this hospital over and over again. Dr Swart (ENT) and Dr Orrell (anaesthesiologist) and their staff were incredible."

"I came in on Sunday evening, 28 December 2025 to the ER. They had a choatic evening there, very busy, however the Dr and staff were amazing. Full of kindness. I was then admitted to the surgical ward. I had three senior staff members, from the management team giving me a warm welcome and apologising for the ER being so hectic. I thought wow, that was different. Then the caring of Dr Jones and all the staff was outstanding. I wanted to share this, as it felt like home from home, comforting and caring. The physiotherapist was incredible. Her warmth towards the patients made such a difference. She was like a ray of sunshine. As for Fedics, I just want to say the food was out of this world. Each meal was so delicious. Thank you. As a patient it was such a pleasant experience. Well done to all and please know it was highly appreciated. I will always remember how you made me feel, so cared for. I will highly recommend your hospital to all."
