Medicover Romania – Bucharest Clinics

"Review for Medicover system - not only Medicover Clinic Victoria I've been a patient of Medicover for many years, but unfortunately, the quality of service has significantly declined, especially post-COVID. One major issue is the steep increase in consultation costs — I now pay 430 RON (over $100 USD) for a basic visit. Ironically it’s often cheaper to see a doctor in the United States (true, there I have a high deductible insurance plan). Another serious concern is the frequency of last-minute cancellations initiated by Medicover. In just two weeks, they canceled three of my scheduled appointments — often less than 24 hours in advance. For instance, my MRI scheduled for July 3rd at 10:00 AM was canceled on July 2nd at 5:00 PM (via email) and again at 5:30 PM (via phone). That’s unacceptable. Luckily, I managed to get a late-night appointment the same day at BioMed Scan (Affidea group) — not only was it faster, but it was also significantly cheaper (1200 RON vs. 2200 RON). At this point, I’m actively looking for better, more reliable alternatives to Medicover. The repeated disruptions and high prices no longer justify staying."

"Unacceptable Conditions at Medicover Victoriei. Deplorable conditions at this clinic. With the building under renovation, it's impossible to breathe due to the dust from construction work. The air quality is worst, and it's clear that patient safety and comfort are not a priority. The elevator is a nightmare - covered in dust! It's unacceptable that patients and construction workers share the same elevators, creating an unhygienic environment. The staff's attitude only adds to the frustration, displaying a clear lack of concern for patient experience. The infrastructure is very old, damaged chairs that are woefully insufficient for the number of patients. It's unbelievable that a private clinic like Medicover can't provide basic amenities. Until the renovation is complete and the clinic addresses these issues, I would strongly advise against visiting. The current state is not just unpleasant - it's unhealthy. Medicover needs to prioritize patient well-being and take immediate action to rectify these problems. I hope the management takes this review seriously and makes necessary improvements. Until then, patients deserve better."

"I recommand this entire clinique for it s services and prices. Mostly good doctors well prepared and proffesionals. Except for doctor alexandru valentin paunescu. I had a very bad experience with him. I don t know how he is part of this wonderfull medical network"
