"Had my surgery here for melanoma and two PET scans. I wanted to say a big thank you to Dr. Dilek Demirez. She is an incredible surgeon and also advised me to do the lymph node biopsy when the other clinics told me I didn't need to. Personally, I think she saved my life. When doing the surgery she also took bigger margins to make sure this cancer doesn't return... I really appreciate it. High recommend Medstar. It's truly professionals like Dr. Dilek Demirez that makes this place incredible."

"4th June 2024 update..... Dr Hilmi in gastrology, his assistants, the nurses and everyone were fantastic. Very helpful, giving full information and details and making the experience good. The hospital also provided the most helpful.and nice translator Haidi. I would recommend this department to everyone. Also, we visited general department and Dr Nargiz is also fantastic. Very helpful and clear and organises everything. The MRI department staff were also great, friendly and helpful. The only problem is the reception staff in the dahilye dept, they don't always listen and dont want to help on first visit and provide incorrect pricing and information. They don't know the correct procedures and don't advise the best. The hospital staff really need training on how to use systems. We are residents with SGK and firstly are given foreigners prices just by looking at us. We show our details and then they say MRI is 2300 tl with SGK, they process on the system wrong and tell us it is 15000 tl. What sort of racial discrimination is this? Only interested in money if you are not Turkish. We show them we have seen a private doctor and have a report and need Mri and endoscopy. Then we are told need to see Medstar general doctor for MRI and pay 1235tl . We see general doctor and then are told we need to see endoscopy doctor separately, another 1400 tl. Endoscopy price is 15000 tl plus 5000 tl for yabanci, or with SGK 11000 plus medicine. In the same hospital why is there a need to see 2 different doctors for 2 tests??? We already saw a registered doctor, but it's all a way to make more money from people. We are sent to 4 different desks and the same people giving different information on different days. Why can the pricing system and processes be explained clearly and precisely. We are continuing the process to get an MRI and endoscopy. I will update the progress, treatment and costs, if it happens.. ##update ### Also, stop sending the same generic response to everyone. "“Listen, we took my mother to Antalya Medstar Hospital to have her catheter replaced. They did replace it, but they put in a shorter one, and it stopped working on the second day. We ended up paying around 35-40 thousand liras for nothing. I want people who are planning to go to this hospital to be very cautious.”"
