"I came for my rhinoplasty and I thought despite the language barrier I was well taken care of. The nurses were tentative and I loved my room and bathroom. It had everything you needed and was spacious. My nurses were sweet although I wish I could understand what they were saying a lot of the times as I was nervous and alone. The only other issue was waiting so long- I was scheduled for my operation for 10am but it got delayed until 11:15 when I got wheeled in for my anaesthetia (the nurses for this was soooo lovely) i stopped eating at 11pm the night before and didn’t get my surgery started until 11:15am which meant the whole morning I was starving which was causing me so much more anxiety and I was never given my epilepsy medications at the time I told them (for 12pm)"

"I had surgery with Dr. Canilkerdemir at Memorial Clinic in Istanbul on April 10th, and sadly my experience has been extremely disappointing. It has been about 6 weeks since my surgery, and I am still in significant pain, especially in my thighs. One of the procedures I specifically wanted was thigh contouring to create separation and a thigh gap, but I honestly do not see any noticeable difference. The lipo done on the left side of my stomach also appears to have made little to no improvement. The only procedure I believe was done reasonably well was the breast lift. What hurts the most is the complete lack of aftercare and concern from the clinic. Since returning to California, not one person from the clinic has called or checked on my recovery. WhatsApp was the primary way we communicated before surgery, but after I reached out with concerns and questions, my messages were ignored. No response at all. The staff were also rude at times, and while there may have been a language barrier, patients should still be treated with compassion, respect, and professionalism — especially after major surgery. This has been a painful and emotionally upsetting experience for me, and based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Memorial Clinic for cosmetic surgery. I hope they improve their patient care, communication, and post-operative support because no patient should feel abandoned after surgery."
