"More than a year ago, I underwent a Chalazion treatment at Vision Mendes, and I feel compelled to share my experience. The treatment, which involved an internal opening, resulted in a significant complication: an internal scar beneath my eyelid that caused constant irritation. For nearly five months, I suffered from an intense burning sensation that affected not only my vision but also my overall well-being. This persistent discomfort disrupted my nervous system because too much stress and ultimately led to my inability to work, costing me my job due to the strain of using a computer. I often found myself wishing to sleep just to escape the pain of the unrelenting scar. What concerns me most is that Dr. Mendez never informed me of these possible side effects.
