"Avoid this hospital at all costs, They hide their costs even if you ask a thousand times and send a giant bill in the end. 5k euro for one night stay just for a catheter and blood tests and meds"
"Recently I had vein laser surgery with Dr. Xiromeritis in this hospital and my experience was very pleasant. From the pre-operative exams where 1 person was guiding me through the exams, to the day of the surgery where each member of the staff was helpful, kind and supportive. Thank you!"
"I have had multiple experiences at Metropolitan General Hospital in Cholargos over the last 11 years (both inpatient and outpatient). The physicians with whom I have consulted have been top notch--as scientists and as caring individuals. Unfortunately the same praise does not apply to the nursing at all. My rating falls from 5 to 1 stars for that reason--it is THAT bad (errors in dosing of medication, unhygienic practices including handling of medications and medical equipment, special attention given to inpatients (tips) they prefer while ignoring basic care of others, mocking of some patients as a way to create a friendlier connection with the ones they prefer, indiscretion with regards to privacy, patronising interactions with patients and family members as opposed to respectful and professional communication, basic lack of skills to seek solutions, rarely follow-up). It appears that patient care is not taken seriously, a priority, or even a thought which is a great shame as the abysmal level nursing significantly affects the patient experience and cheapens the incredible work of the doctors whom they are supposed to be supporting. There are a few nurses who are exceptional, but their colleagues have poisoned the pot. Inpatients talk among themselves about how they have learned how to get what they need by praising the nurses but then agree with each other (often rolling eyes) that the level of nursing is subpar. This is a disgrace in any therapeutic environment, but especially in one that is privately run. The facilities are old which can be looked past to a point--the patient bathrooms as well as handicapped bathrooms, though, should feature toilets that are appropriate for those meant to use them, and cleanliness should be the standard. Wheel chairs are broken and barely functional. The kitchen staff and the personnel who work on level -2 where scans are done are generally kind and helpful. However, that is not the reason to go to a hospital. If you are an inpatient--triple check the bill. Consensus is that there are always many line items that do not apply but for which the patient has been charged. So, buyer beware. If my doctors were not affiliated with Metropolitan General, I would never step foot again in the facility."
"Excellence in the Service of Life Choosing Dr. Christophoros Kotoulas means ensuring the absolute best care. Every moment spent with him reflects a rare level of expertise, where top-tier technical skill is matched by exemplary kindness and attentiveness. A huge thank you to him and his entire team, especially his assistant Dr. Vicente Garcia, for their unwavering dedication. For any complex cardiothoracic surgery, we wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kotoulas to anyone seeking the highest standard of excellence."
"Staff is very polite, more than accommodating. The only problem is to get an x-ray done, especially when you have a broken leg/legs, or any other injury. It is very difficult to go up and down with the elevator; You had to pay downstairs in the basement and come upstairs to get your x-rays done. However, once there, Ioannis Hatzioannou (Γιάννης Χατζηιωάννου), Τεχνολόγος/Ακτινολόγος, was very caring, accommodating, professional, and extremely helpful! He took care of me as if he were my personal doctor! Nobody cared to ask for a wheelchair so I could be transported around; He was the one that actually called and asked for transport from the main hospital to the doctors office! He also ensure that I had digital copies of my x-ray so they can be sent via computer. He actually made my day! Then there was a polite transporter, Dimitris Tafas (Δημήτρης Τάφας από τα επείγοντα). He arranged for the doctor to meet us and examine me and was on standby to take me to the cab after my appointment. Thank you both gentlemen very much for all of your help and especially you’re caring attitudes!!!"
