Munich Airport Clinic

"We want to thank the Munich Airport Clinic staff for all of their assistance during not one but two visits to the Clinic. Both times Frank was denied the Fit to Fly document and each time the Doctor, Paramedics and staff worked with us. Their knowledge, their patience, and their English speaking skills made us feel comfortable during a very stressful situation. Their time spent speaking long distance to our travel insurance company explaining Frank’s medical situation along with the global airline guidelines was outstanding. "I had fallen in another city’s airport while I was boarding a Lufthansa flight to Munich. My foot caught on the tile and tripped me. I fell on my hands but 3 of my fingers on my left hand dislocated. The flight attendants gave me ice so I could ice my left hand. By the time the 1hour and 20 minute flight completed my hand was swollen and fingers were not able to move. We walked to the Middlenich Airport Clinic and was seen immediately. Dr. Zoran was wonderful and the admitting staff were awesome. Dr. Corn had told me that a very special nurse had just arrived and that she will need to remove two of my rings from my fingers. One of them was my wedding ring. She tried everything from soap to threads to wires to remove the rings. She was determined to remove them and did manage to remove the wedding ring but had to cut the one on my middle finger. She was so gentle Reno them which seemed Ian impossible task. She worked over an hour trying to remove them.Her name is Erika and I owe my entire left hand to her! The other Doctor on staff later in the evening was Dr. Wachter. He was amazing and told me that I will be able to make my flight back to the United States in the morning. This facility and staff are superb. They are so efficient and kind. If you ever need medical assistance at the Munich Airport please have complete confidence in the medical staff. They have 7 stars and well deserved! Thank you all that work there you truly are Angels in disguise."

"While the walk to the clinic is a commitment, it was well worth the effort. We were admitted without needing an appointment, and were lucky enough to be treated immediately. The staff spoke perfect English, and were really friendly and reassuring, and Deaf friendly. I wish this service was in every airport. Cannot thank the wonderful staff enough for their wonderful and helpful service."
