"Wait times are long as per any hospital, but outpatient and inpatient care are excellent."

"Best Cancer Center in Japan. Lots of international doctors came to visit and learn from them."

"The waiting time so see a doctor on the second-floor section A for the breast cancer with the scheduled appointment was ridiculously long (3 hours), and the doctor admitted that she deliberately prioritized other people with later appointments. The information (printed) she gave me on the drugs` price was so incorrect (at least 3 times more expensive) that it made me think it was also deliberate. People at the registration refused to help to figure out the reason behind this long waiting time and were absolutely useless. Latest update - People pay for the letter from the hospital to the insurance companies to get some money back. But if you were treated by several doctors (which is usually the case, because a team of doctors from different departments are involved), you have to pay for each letter from every doctor. It seems like the hospital is trying hard to use every opportunity to make more money. And it is in the situation when the services provided by the staff for the most part are extremely far from the acceptable quality."

"This is Japan’s flagship cancer hospital, known for its excellent patient care. I had the privilege of helping my dad connect with Dr. Yoshimoto (吉本 世一), Deputy Director, Department of Head and Neck Surgery, and our experience was outstanding from the very start. During our first consultation, which was originally scheduled for an hour, Dr. Yoshimoto spent nearly two hours patiently explaining everything and answering all our questions. Before the surgery, he took the time to walk us through the procedure and its risks in detail. On the day of the operation, he and his team performed a complex yet precise surgery, successfully removing the tumor while carefully preserving as much function as possible. After a long day in the operating room, Dr. Yoshimoto still made sure to sit down with my mom and me, explaining everything they had done and the next steps in my dad’s recovery. He even stayed until my dad woke up from anesthesia to check on him personally. It was a long and exhausting day for us, but his dedication gave us much-needed peace of mind. I also want to express my gratitude to the entire team — Drs. 坂井 利彦, 林 崇明, 伊藤 達哉, 木村 武一郎, 東 晃史. Their skill, professionalism, and genuine care made a challenging experience much more reassuring. Thanks to their expertise, my dad’s recovery process has been as smooth as possible. We are incredibly grateful for their hard work and dedication!"
