"The staffs are friendly, and they saved my friend, so 5 stars for sure. However, if it’s possible, I hope I’d never need to come here even they have a great view outside of the window. Stay healthy 🤲"

"As a tourist in germany I came to the emergency of this hospital because my mum was sick during travelling, the Doctor was very good, and blood tests and scans were done really quickly."

"I will not write anything about the quality of services of those places that are located on the territory of this complex. My review is about the general impression of architecture, appearance and emotions that all this things caused in me. Charite is a clinical complex located in four districts of Berlin, and I was at one that is near the railway station by the river Spree: A very large fenced area on the territory of which there are many old buildings of different orientations. These are just hospitals, and buildings of individual medical specialties with laboratories, and administrative building, and, as I understand, there is a university is here too. All buildings are with beautiful old architecture. Sometimes quiet quickie work was encountered, such as the ugly painting of some walls, after which the color difference looked ridiculous. But overall, the complex left a very pleasant aesthetic impression."

"I strongly advise against scheduling a diagnostic here, not waste your time for waiting. Even with an appointment, I had to wait over an hour the first time, and more than two hours the next. It’s unclear why they make time slots available on Doctolib if patients are kept waiting so long anyway."

"I want to share my experience for the sake of other international patients. My father was an international self-paying patient at Charité, and our experience was extremely disappointing — not necessarily because of the cost itself, but because of the complete lack of transparency and the chaotic administrative process. It took around 10 weeks to receive my father's medical report. During this period, we sent multiple emails and made several phone calls, but nothing progressed. Only after I submitted a long complaint to the patient service — in German, even though my father was registered as an international patient — did anything finally move forward. When the report finally arrived, it was only in German. Their processing speed was so slow and unreliable that I simply could not wait any longer, so I ended up translating the entire document into English myself. Two weeks later, we received a bill for nearly 800 EUR. I understand that medical services can be expensive, but the invoice contained no breakdown at all: no list of tests, no GOÄ codes, no explanations. It only included three names (apparently two doctors and one lab staff member) without any department or role descriptions. I had to search the Charité staff directory myself to figure out who they were. Most concerning is that none of the listed doctors were the ones who actually saw us. We met two different physicians during the visit, yet neither of their names appeared on the invoice. This raises the serious question of whether the invoice even belongs to my father. We had around 1 hour consultation, a blood test, and a urine test — no treatment. As international self-paying patients, we expected at least a clear explanation of what we were being charged for. Instead, we faced delays, missing information, lack of transparency, and inconsistent documentation. For a hospital of this size and reputation, this is extremely disappointing and urgently needs improvement."
