"To get hold of Christiaan Barnards accounts department is an absolute nightmare, you get transferred to multiple departments and never get hold of the correct department - the service is absolutely putrid!! They just put the phone on hold so that they do not have to deal with sick, worried patients and other service providers - how can such a big institution run on these kinds of principles? The doctors are amazing but the back of house sucks!"

Serious I can't explain it it's bad for private hospital pack with patience sleeping tired of waiting. The sister at triage very friendly you can see the old school. The one by the drs room seems tired, drained and sick. No patient skill talk to patience like a warden. Loud talking about their lives at home, directing each other to see which Dr talks, is common like music. The reception staff very friendly...think the only ones"

"As a paramedic and base manager, I'm writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the hospital's policy restricting only one parent from staying overnight with our 2-year-old daughter. As a healthcare professional, I've witnessed firsthand the unpredictability of life and the importance of family support during challenging times. Tonight, I'm faced with the difficult decision of challenging this policy in a private facility, driven by the desire to be there for my daughter and support my wife during this stressful period. It's heartbreaking to think that parents are forced to choose between being with their child and supporting each other. This policy lacks inclusivity and neglects the emotional needs of families. As a paramedic, I've seen the impact of traumatic events on individuals and families, and I understand the value of having loved ones nearby during difficult times. I'm compelled to advocate for change, ensuring that families can stay together and support each other without unnecessary restrictions. I like to explore ways to address this policy or provide information on organizations that support family-centered care in hospitals?"

"We had to wait for an hour just to have the file opened, and the administrator/receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. The experience felt more like a public hospital, despite the fact that we are paying for the service. I had gone there due to bleeding during my pregnancy, which made the long wait and lack of urgency particularly distressing. My husband had to lodge a complaint before I was finally allowed to see the nurse. Unfortunately, the nurse was unfriendly and barely spoke to me. It felt as though my presence was a bother. I would, however, like to sincerely thank Sister Zondile for being exceptionally friendly, caring, and professional. A special thank you as well to Dr. Sittmann. He was truly amazing."
