"Jan 2020 - I was traveling in Rio and needed some dental work. Sadly, the quality was poor. 6 months later, the crown they put on had developed a hole in it, as you can see in the photo. I had to pay $1500 in the US to get it fixed properly. On the other hand, the dental lenses I had done, are still in great shape as of Nov 2024, and I keep getting compliments on my teeth. The clinic 3D scanned my teeth, and also printed the veneers. Great work, though not perfect - one incisor lens ended up visibly sticking out compared to the other, despite my repeated requests to adjust it. I don't think the language barrier was the problem because I had talked to the dentist lady through an interpreter (Thiago from the front desk, very nice guy). Lastly, their appointment times were never honored. Every time I showed up, I had to wait 1-2 hours. This was back in 2020 though, so maybe things have improved since then. Overall, I *would* recommend this clinic, seeing from the response to my review that they really care. Unfortunately I had left Rio due to Covid in Feb 2020, and I couldn't come back for a fix. "I had a procedure done. Be very clear about what you want. Be sure to get price confirmed before you step foot in the door.. Dr Carmen is very nice and knows what she’s doing. The office team is very professional and clean (they make you wear booties). I was very impressed. I had some. Issues behind the scenes, but made it through.i can honestly recommend."

"It is hard to put into words just how impressed I have been with this clinic. My case was not straightforward as I needed seven old crowns replaced along with new veneers and several lower crooked teeth corrected. The work involved four very long sessions in the chair but the results have exceeded every expectation. Dra. Natalia deserves special mention. She has been extraordinary throughout this process, combining precision, patience and artistry in a way that is truly remarkable. Her attention to detail on my two upper front teeth, creating smaller crowns and layering them with veneers to achieve natural translucency, was nothing short of magical. From the very beginning it was clear she had both the skill and the vision to manage a complex case and her commitment to the best possible outcome never wavered. I would also like to thank Dra. Andrezza and Dr. Renato, who each brought their own expertise and care to different stages of the treatment. Together, with Dra. Natalia’s leadership, they formed an outstanding clinical team. Beyond the dentists, the wider clinical team were excellent, including assistants and nurses who were kind, reassuring and attentive at every visit. Their warmth and efficiency made the whole experience far easier and more comfortable than I expected. The use of the latest technology was another reassurance of excellence. The initial suggestion of some root canals worried me at first, but they carried out two in about an hour with no pain or discomfort during or after. Truly incredible. This has been a long journey, but I am deeply grateful to the Odonto Liuzzi team. If you are considering treatment here, you can be confident you will be in the very best hands. And that is something to smile about."

"I am sharing my personal experience with Odontoliuzzi Clinic so that future patients can make an informed decision. After undergoing a dental implant procedure at this clinic, the implant was lost. Following this outcome, I sought further examinations and care abroad. When I contacted the clinic to discuss the situation, the response I received was formal and strictly legal in nature. There was no proposal for reassessment, follow-up treatment, or alternative solution, and no acknowledgment of the practical, physical, or financial consequences I experienced as a patient. Communication focused primarily on denying responsibility rather than on patient support or resolution. This review does not question medical intent or technical competence, but reflects my disappointment with the lack of post-treatment support and the absence of a patient-centered approach when complications occurred. I believe it is important for prospective patients to be aware of how post-procedure situations are handled in the event of unexpected outcomes."

"My experience with Odontoliuzzi Clinic has been extremely disappointing, both on a medical and professional level. Following the placement of a dental implant at this clinic, the implant failed completely, leading to further complications that required additional examinations and treatment abroad. Despite the seriousness of the situation, the clinic refused to take any responsibility or show any willingness to reassess the case or propose a fair solution. Instead of demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and patient care, the clinic responded with a purely legal and defensive stance, denying any possibility of error and distancing itself entirely from the outcome. There was no genuine effort to engage in constructive dialogue or to support me through the consequences of this failure. What was particularly shocking was the complete lack of human consideration for the physical, emotional, and financial impact this situation had on me. When complications arise, patients reasonably expect transparency, ethics, and responsibility from a medical establishment — unfortunately, none of this was present here. I am sharing this review to inform future patients: in the event of complications, do not expect responsible follow-up or proper support. I deeply regret having placed my trust in this clinic."
