"I found Dr. Rivera online without me knowing anything about eye surgery and it was a great! First I brought my corneal topography exam and had a consult, where we determined that one eye was eligible for LASIK and one eye eligible for SMILE. It gave me confidence when Dr. Rivera explained the two procedures, I could tell they were knowledgeable because otherwise they might have tried to do SMILE on both eyes or something. Then the appointment for the actual procedure was scheduled quickly. Day of was very smooth, no pain during (only after) and all my follow-ups have been easy too. I used to have -3.25 and -2.75 myopia and now I have -.5 and -.25 so it’s much much much better. Thank you doctor and everyone on the staff! Very friendly and easy to communicate with."
