"OncoCare Mt Elizabeth, Novena, Singapore made a difficult time feel a little lighter. Dr Akhil Chopra is very approachable, amazingly responsive, extremely knowledgable, compassionate and encouraging and never rushed us. The nurses and front-desk staff are kind, responsive on whatsapp/phone and encouraging. The facilities are top notch and run efficiently with minimal wait time. We always felt heard and cared for. "Dr Wong Nan Soon is super professional & knowledgeable. He is calm, patient, and takes the time to explain things without any sign of that typical arrogance or cockiness one often gets from doctors. A true physician in my opinion. Dr Ben Chua isn’t my doctor, but he always comes across as highly energetic & optimistic, which is what cancer patients need when they are down & out. What many fail to realise is how critical bedside manner is, when patients are struck by dastardly cancer and are at a complete loss for what steps to take in terms of treatment. When the future seems bleak, getting treated by doctors who are brimming with compassion, and optimism, mean everything to a patient. Nurses are wonderful too, especially Amor, who is always humorous, sweet, and attentive. Clinic ambience is good as well, but I prefer the old setup, which was much larger in terms of floor space & the treatment areas."
