"We went there two years ago when my 4 year old son got sick on vacation and this Hospital still impresses me. They were proffessional . I have not been to a hospital that matches and does not waste your time."

"I visited the clinic on the 9th of January. I paid the deposit of $300 but the doctors were not able to help. The reception said they would refund me. I went back the next day when I hadn’t received it and said that it would be with me in 2 weeks. I contacted the bank and they said the money was being held by the hospital. I have tried contacting them multiple times, a lot of the times I was unbelievable to get through on the phone. Be careful paying a deposit before you know they can help you!! As I do not know if I will be able to get this money back now as the communication is so poor."

"Professional, Clean, Modern facilities with caring, committed staff to providing the best in class, plus help with all medical issues, whether it is an emergency, on going concerns, or requirement for the best out of country healthcare. Timely triage, followed by onsite lab tests, MRI, Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine all in one place seamlessly working together ensuring your health is their top priority! All of this within hours not days! Special thanks to Dr. E. Ferrari and his team for taking the time, and empathy to provide the ultimate care for me. Thank you for taking care of my health needs, when I needed help, in a beautiful foreign country away from home!"

"My husband received emergency care for an intestinal obstruction at Panamá Clinic after being evacuated by ambulance from a ship in Colon. We are extremely grateful for the skill and kindness of Dr Duran, who performed emergency surgery shortly after arrival. His prompt care and skill saved my husband’s life. Dr Duran oversaw my husband’s care and communicated with me through WhatsApp to keep me informed, also visiting my husband several times a day during his six day stay. The ICU doctor was extraordinary too, even intervening to ensure I was safely lodged at the adjacent hotel. Staff members were top notch, patient and alert to the needs of my spouse. We are very grateful for the staff of this modern and well equipped hospital."

"I am a healthcare professional of over 25 years experience in the states. I can say that the care I received from the medical, surgical, and patient care staff at the Panama Clinic rivals any U.S. hospital I have been either a staff member of, or as a patient. However, the billing department is my reason for a one star review. After my recent surgery at The Panama Clinic, I paid my bill in full, and they gave me the typical Factura Electronica as is customary in Panama. However, my U.S. based insurance sees the term "Total a Pagar" with a dollar amount next to it on the Factura Electronica, and interprets that as an amount that I still owe to The Panama Clinic. Of course, the insurance company wants something that says the balance is zero. This is where the billing department at The Panama Clinic is a failure. They refuse to issue any kind of document, statement, letter, or anything that indicates that I paid the total amount. They say that the Factura Electronica is the proof of the payment, despite the fact that the Factura Electronica states a dollar amount next to the total amount to pay. Why is this important? A U.S. based insurance company will not reimburse the insured person for what they (me) paid for medical services, unless it is clear to them that the services were paid for. A simple answer, would be for the Panama Clinic to issue my account statement showing my balance is in zero. However, they refuse to do so. Until the Panama Clinic does this, my insurance company will not reimburse me for the covered expenses of the surgery that I had at The Panama Clinic. (Thousands of dollars)."
