"I chose wait on writing a review for Dr Luis Caballero and the Panama Aesthetics team until I had been through the whole process. I also wanted time to fully reflect on my complete experience. Summary – 5 Stars Dr Caballero and his team did an outstanding job through the entire process. • Focused on the outcomes I wanted from the procedure. • Great communication and engagement answering all my questions. • Built a high level of trust from the initial appointment through post-surgery recovery. • Terrific staff and Doctors that were responsive and caring. • Everyone wanted me to have a great experience and feel comfortable throughout. Mosty importantly, the surgery corrected my issue and I am very happy with how it all turned out. More Details My Situation • Correct male Diastasis Recti. • I could not utilize the less invasive repair approaches. • I had been dealing with issues years with this and it was time address it. My Procedure • A “tummy tuck” (abdominoplasty) and the associated liposuction. • I elected to use the hyperbaric chamber and therapeutic massages Panama Aesthetics Before deciding on Panama Aesthetics • I had spoken with several doctors, both in the US and in Panama. • A friend who had used Dr Caballero for her surgery, referred me to his office. Dr Caballero and all the staff were friendly and professional from the first contact. It was easy to set an appointment and confirm everything via WhatsApp (more on this below). Dr Luis Caballero As noted in many other reviews, Dr Caballero is very engaging. • He is focused on your needs and wants to ensure you have the best possible outcomes. • He explained everything several times as I asked him all my questions. I appreciated his patience. • He asked more about my situation to see if we needed to tailor the process to accommodate any travel or remote recover needs. One important note here. I am from the US. The language in Panama is Spanish,,One of my largest concerns in having surgery was the language. I did not want any miscommunication creating an issue. Getting medical right, even in English, can be a challenge from my experience. With Dr Caballero language was not an issue. He not only speaks English, he is FLUENT and a great communicator. The Surgery & Surgical Center The surgical center was great. Modern, comfortable and Uber dropped us right at the door. • Intake was easy • All the staff were nice and did a great job, including a painless IV setup. Dr Caballero and his associates chatted with my wife and I. Then I was moved to a preparation room with all the doctors. In addition to Dr Caballero was his partner acting as an attending physician, Dr Diaz from his clinic and an associate there to observe. It was nice having a room full of doctors focused on my surgery and outcomes. I want to give a special thanks to Dr Martin Cragwell. Unlike past surgeries where I woke up groggy and parched in the recovery room, I was great. I woke up clear headed and with no pain. Honestly, I felt fine. Post Surgery Recovery (first two weeks) We stayed at the Marriot Residence Inn in the Pacific Mall for about two weeks. • Hotel was an easy walk to Panama Aesthetics (5-7 minutes pre-surgery). • In my discharge, Dr Hansel Diaz went over everything and answered all our questions. • All the medication and instructions were provided there for recovery. On day three, I walked from the hotel to his office (both in the Pacific Mall). Every day I woke up, I felt noticeably better. Hyperbaric Chamber I think the post-surgery recovery went so well because of the Hyperbaric treatments. After experiencing it I can readily agree. • The chamber was a tube with plexiglass at the top you look out of so no feeling closed in. I watched TV through the hole process. • I had 3 treatments and I highly recommend it as part of the process, as the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr Caballero and Panama Aesthetics They did an amazing job throughout!"

"After researching for 2 years, in Jan 2025, I had my first consult with Dr. Luis Caballero, who is fluent in English. As soon as I walked into the clinic, I was greeted with a warm smile from the beautiful ladies at the front desk, also speak English. Dr. Luis is a talented plastic surgeon with a warm, nurturing and personable demeanour. He took his time, addressing every question and concern I had. After having previous surgeries in Canada, this was the first consultation, where I wasn’t rushed out the door after 10 minutes, for a ridiculous price.  12 days ago, I had surgery.
