"Overall satisfaction: very satisfied Quality of advice: satisfied Medicine Treatment: very satisfied (external; Dr. med. Markus Knöringer) Administration and processes: satisfied Equipment and design: satisfied Overall Staff: very satisfied Nurse: very satisfied Experience report: It was my first time as a patient in the Paracelsus Clinic. All processes are well coordinated and there was no reason for me to complain. The accommodation was clean with a functionally furnished room (single room). The service in the infirmary was very good, especially the ratio of available nurses and patients. All employees, nurses and doctors are very friendly and knowledgeable. This clinic is definitely recommended. People with high demands on comfort and individual care should talk to their doctor in advance about their expectations towards the hospital to ensure the limitations of this facility are clarified prior. Many thanks for everything."

"After two stays in 2019 and 2020, I'm currently at the Paracelsus Clinic for the third time - each time with the same problem that only can be solved by eventually transplating skin from the thigh to a chronic wound in the shinbone area. Dr Rothenaicher, head of the clinic, and his surgery team are performing excellent work in doing so. But not only that - it needs to be mentioned that the whole nursing team is also on top of the job. The clinic is very small, some forty or fifty beds at most, which contributes to an explicitly unhectic climate. As a patient, you never ever have to wait long when you call a nurse, they usually come within two minutes, sometimes even faster. Compared to big clinics, the food is excellent, being freshly prepared in the clinic's own kitchen facilities. So, all in all - if you get sick, go to Paracelsus. All you need, though, is the right kind of sickness or wound because the place is very sepcialised."

"I had a hernia repair done here and was referred by my Hausarzt to see Hr. Dr. Rothenaicher. From the first initial checkup to confirmation of my hernia up until surgery, everything was smooth sailing and non-complicated. My hernia was due to a previous laparotomy surgery (2019) that did not heal optimally and I thought it was very thoughtful of the surgeon to go through the old scar instead of making a new one (albeit it being a tad longer but that doesn't matter). In the beginning, we agreed that we would have to use a mesh to ensure a non-recurring instance of my muscles/fat tissues protruding during crunches or situps in the area of the hollow of my rib cage but I found out after the procedure that the mesh was not inserted due to too much scar tissue from the previous said laparotomy surgery. I was happy to know that the surgeon made the best and safest decision for me and my body. Everyone complaining about the state of the hospital being small and non-modern are a bit too much in my opinion. You have NOT seen the hospitals I've been in and this one was homey, clean, more than decent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, especially to a beginner German speaker. If there is one thing I have to absolutely complain about; I guess it would be the quality of the door-- you can hear absolutely everything going on outside but now I think maybe it's also good so that the staff can hear you if you're wailing in pain? That wasn't a problem for me because I came prepared and brought ear plugs but I also didn't need to use them as the loud sounds were non-existent during the night. I slept well for 2 nights and I have nothing bad to say about this clinic other than thank you for taking such good care of me, and I wish this establishment, the doctors and all the staff the best that they deserve."

"Compared with hospitals in Switzerland, this hospital feels like one in a developing country, or rather, like a prison. The doctor is very nice, but everyone else is patronising, rude, and unfriendly. As for the food, well, let’s not talk about it. The rooms are tiny, and everything looks a little run-down."
