"Great doctors, terrible administration. I asked for a breakdown of cost prior to surgery so i could submit to insurance for a common procedure of removing appendix. Incase insurance didn't cover i chose the least expensive option (Shared room, check out in one day)7k quoted, they said they would be in touch with my insurance to work it all out. We received the letter of cover mid surgery, obviously i was unaware. Go to check out following day, and was told i have to pay upfront as the insurance letter wouldn't cover and can claim back later. Bill came back at "18k" that we had to pay upfront, lucky I'm in a position to pay. As we are paying we were calling insurance as well, insurance took to long so we just paid. Insurance later told us we should not have paid, that they spoke with them to fully cover. We then had to wait over a month to recover the costs, i honestly think they did this so they didn't have to wait for the money and probably claim at a higher cost with no questions asked. Absolutely worst customer experience ive had. (Post reply)- I think given all the reviews and the same reponse to each review, your reply will just waste more of time our time and all I can do is try give warning to anyone who is thinking of using this hospital and to be aware of any problems that they will face dealing with this administration. They are very few insurance agencies if you havent worked out their processes by now I don't think your small minds will ever gather enough info to improve."

"Hi my name is Leah and I have a son that was Special child. He has to go for blood test and I am so overwhelmed and thankful to the staff name Ms. Yamani coz after 2 yrs she still can remember my son. She is so nice and sincere that really understands my son’s situation and needs… I’m so thankful to the rest of the staff who help to make the procedure successful…God bless you all. Love , kuya Tantine"

"Kind nurses at the labour ward! Went there twice during the CNY period for CTG scan, and Roslina was very professional and kind. They checked on us multiple times during the scan to make sure we were okay and also answered all our questions reassuring us about the delivery process :) Enjoyed our visit and very grateful to the nurses there!"

"I want to say a big thank you to the all the hospital staff from the moment i was admitted to parkway east at 7am until discharge at 11.30am. Senior staff nurse in bay area nurhayati was very very patience and attentive to my needs and prep op prep. Anaesthesiologist dr yeo and her anesthesia tech was so funny and professional that she put me at ease and relaxed me even the moment i was pushed into the operation theatre. I did not feel anything during the IV insertion, my daughter’s finger nails pinch is more painful. Dr natalie chua was efficient and chop chop which i like. I am a chop chop person too. The recovery nurse was so kind that she make sure i was okay throughout the recovery process and chit chat with me. The only thing that truly need improvement is the administrative department where the admission at hospital side and the clinic administrative side can be more transparent and communicate better. During the financial counselling part, the amount of hospital fee and what quoted from the pre auto from insurance were off. I literally advised any patients that need to be admitted must be clear with the insurance covered coverage first. But overall is still my go to hospital if need amy urgent care."

"It’s the first admission in my life so you can imagine the stress and fear level I have. MRI, operation, all these words scare the shoot out of me. Being a foreigner with the least familiarity with SG healthcare system wouldn’t help with the situation either. However, I really really want to say thank you to all staff at the Parkway East during my admission, starting from the A&E nurse, Ward 4B team, caretakers, MRI team, anaesthetic doctor, operating theatre team, and more whom I didn’t mention here. I’m really thankful for all the kindness, comforting, and professional care given to me. Especially the nurse who helped showering & hair washing + drying before my checkout for being so patient with me. Of course this comes with cost but there are places where cost and care might not be together. Thank you once again. You all deserve a thankful recognition. 🙏"
