"Dr Gerhard was recommended to us by our hotel after my wife slipped and hurt her ankle. He is a German orthopaedic specialist and dealt with the whole event quickly and efficiently. I've seen many reviews claiming he's only out to make money! Well, if you can get this treatment anywhere cheaper in the Western world, you're deluded. 1500 Thai Bht per consultation (£35) was fantastic value. The end result after x-ray was a broken metatarsal, and Dr Gerhard supplied a support boot, which is doing a great job and making life more comfortable until our flight home in 5 days. "I had a very bad experience with this German doctor in Phuket. He was extremely arrogant not interesstet to help. When I told him that I was going to get my sister because she was not stable, he simply walked away and left without saying anything. He could say go to another clinic because I have to leave, but no he left when we arrived 10 min later. I have never seen such rude and irresponsible behavior from a doctor before. Definitely not recommended!"
