"In 2022, I underwent corrective breast implant surgery in Beverly Hills, California, and was extremely satisfied with the results. However, a complication arose in June 2023, leading me to seek immediate surgical attention. Dr. Kricheldorff at JJPS was able to offer a same-day consultation and scheduled surgery within a month due to the urgency of my situation. Throughout the preparatory period, I emphasized my desire for smaller, more natural-looking breasts, specifically requesting no increase in implant size and expressing indifference towards perfect symmetry. My goal was clear: to correct an abnormal indentation without altering the overall size. Despite extensive discussions and explicit instructions, the outcome was profoundly disappointing. Post-surgery, Dr. Kricheldorff informed me he had increased the implant size to 400 mL from the 310 mL to achieve symmetry—a decision made without my consent while I was under anesthesia. The specific issue of the indentation I wanted corrected was acknowledged yet unaddressed during the operation. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, Dr. Kricheldorff's response was dismissive, suggesting an inability to please some women and stating he wouldn't have proceeded had he known my preferences—despite having acknowledged these in our numerous consultations. His failure to recognize the 5cm x 3cm indentation upon post-operative examination further highlights a concerning lack of attention to detail (the indentation still remains 7 months post surgery). This experience has left me regretful and disheartened. I urge women considering surgery at JJPS to reflect deeply on my story, hoping it prompts a thorough vetting process to ensure your needs and desires are not only understood but respected."
