"after falling sick, with a very temperature, i decided that i had to see a doctor asap. Came to Los Arcos (emergency) and paid around 30k. everything seemed to be fine except the fact that i had to spend there around 4 hours, sitting, waiting for my turn, with temperature around 40. What i couldn’t understand is that some people could just go to the doctor without waiting for their turn."
"Excellent and fast service. They also made an effort to find a doctor who speaks English because my Spanish is not that great."
"The hospital itself is very nice. And maybe there are good employees, but the people that i personally had to deal with should not be in charge of someone's life. And how do you employ a receptionist in a big city hospital that does not speak English? If you have an emergency, please find some place and doctors who actually care to find out what is wrong with you and are genuinely willing to help you out (do their job)."
"This is a great hospital for emergency services. I have used it 2x now: once for a severe burn and just recently for rapidly deteriorating case of acute prostatitis. My partner and I both speak Spanish but it’s difficult describing medical problems in detail in a foreign language. Everyone we dealt with from the greeter at the front door to the examining doctor went out of their way to help us and we all managed to Spanglish our way through it. The first doctor when realizing the severity of the problem got a colleague more fluent in English to take over and he was great. Thorough examination followed by detailed lab work (blood and urine) and I left feeling confident that I had been well taken care of. We were in and out in about an hour at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and the whole thing cost about $200US (that may seem like a lot but in US that would have been a $5000 bill.) The hospital is beautiful and clean and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of hospital services. Be prepared to use your translator app if not fluent but know that they’ll work with you and in the end provide great care. Cannot recommend highly enough."
"Had a lingering cold/cough while visiting Buenos Aires so went here based on the recommendation of several locals. Was very satisfied with my treatment. Saw someone right away, which cost around $60 US (you pay up front), then went right in to the doctor, she said I should have a chest x-ray which I thought would be way more expensive than the initial appointment cost but was only around $30 US (and the x-ray was right down the hall and they took me right away), then the doctor prescribed me some antibiotics. The doctor was very nice. I speak some Spanish so I was able to navigate everything in Spanish but they also have people who speak English (including doctors) if you need that. Would definitely come here again if I needed care."
