"Not want to say much abouts this. As we all know that this is best eye hospital in India from where people from not only different come from different part of India but also come from different countries also. We met one patient who came from Nepal and few others from Bangladesh. Doctors and other technical staffs are one of best and try to get a complete understanding before advising on treatment or medicine to patient. Fee is also reasonable. Advance appointment facility is also here but if you are not able to take appointment in advance they have token system also from where you have to go early in the morning with patient. They distribute token from 6 AM to 7 AM but be there by 530 am."

"For an online appointment booking done on 31.01.2026, I got a confirmation for consultation with Dr. PADMALAKSHMI K on 18.02.2026. The doctor's name was randomly chosen by me from the list of doctors displayed , as I did not know any doctors there earlier. I reported at 0900 hrs and from reception to Consultatiion ,everything went very smoothly and professionally without any delay. However the consultation with Dr Padmalakshmi .K was quite disappointing. She was very rude from the very beginning for reasons best known to her and at the end of the consultation, I asked her the reason for being rude. I was shocked to hear from her that that is her normal style of talking. I requested her to be polite and courteous with patients and left the consultation room. I gave an oral feedback about Dr Padmalakshmi K 's professional conduct at the reception before leaving the hospital. If this is the style of talking / professional conduct of Dr. Padmalakshmi, I suggest to the hospital management that she be sent for sensitivity training and undergo refresher course on professional ethics for medical practitioners. An organisation is only as good as its people. If rude behaviour of Dr Padmalakshmi K is normal norm with other patients as well, it can only dent the fine reputation of the hospital. On a 5 point scale ( 1 least and 5 maximum) I would rate the hospital at 4 and the professional competence and conduct of Dr Padmalakshmi K at 1. Dr RAJAGOPAL K NAIR 18.02.2026"

Plan min. 2 days and appointment pre booking is advised, cross consultation / referral with different Doctors /department is smooth. Canteen food quality is also good . 120/- auto charge from Chennai central, Egmore is nearer."
