"Excellent work ethic, care, and professionalism. I arrived at the hospital’s emergency department with severe abdominal pain and significant swelling. I was immediately attended by Nurse Christof, who helped calm me down, was very empathetic, and monitored me constantly. Later, Surgeon Lena Landsmann attended me, she is incredible! She spoke to me in my native language, perfect Spanish, clearly explained the entire situation, and ran multiple tests until identifying the true problem. Due to an infection found in my ovaries, she urgently referred me to Charité Hospital and called an ambulance given the gynecological emergency (there was non gynaecology in-house). All of this happened around 2 a.m on a Saturday. I am deeply grateful to the entire staff and truly recommend this place for its outstanding quality of care and empathy."

"I would like to write a short review of a visit I had at Dr. med. Eric P. M. Lorenz office today. The appointment took place at almost the exact time, which is rare! The visit was brief but fruitful, additional examination was prescribed prior to a surgery that I am expecting to have. Mrs. Ursula Hillebrecht, Chefarztsekretärin, was very pleasant and professional. She was helpful and sent me an elaborative email in both English and German for my additional examination and next visit. Looking forward to my surgery!"

"I had surgery here in February 2024 and stayed for five days. The doctors, nurses, care assistants, the ambulance drivers who transferred me — simply everyone in the building — were incredibly kind and compassionate. I was going through a very stressful time after receiving a very serious diagnosis, but thanks to their professionalism and support, I was successfully treated. I truly cannot thank them enough for everything they did for me."

"I want to sincerely thank the emergency room team that worked the evening of 09.11.25. I believe the Doctor was Maximillian and unfortunately I don’t recall the nurses name but they were both phenomenal. My husband became severely ill while on our holiday, and we needed to rush to the emergency room. They were extremely patient with us and thorough and noticed how scared we were and how sick he was and provided immediate care and tried to get as many answers as they could to provide him the proper relief. As Americans we were nervous to go to a hospital in another country considering the language barrier and no insurance but this ER team made us feel safe and secure. They also spoke English in the ER which allowed us to be more at ease because we were able to understand everything going on, so I was very grateful as we were in their home country. Once we were admitted, the nurses Adil, Haily, and Maria from Station 7 were phenomenal. I couldn’t ask for a more patient and attentive team. I was a very nervous spouse because my husband was so sick but the nurses made sure I understood everything going on and answered all of my questions and also did all of my requests. I frequently asked for his vitals to be checked and they never acted like I was a burden. I am so thankful and we sincerely want to sing Haily, Adil, and Maria’s praises. A special shoutout to Adil who went out of his way to show me where I can buy food to eat as I hadn’t eaten in a couple of days since my husband became ill. Adil knew I had no idea where we were and he helped me get food and get through the language barrier. Great team. Also a special shoutout to our Doctor in station 7, he answered all of my questions and even gave me his direct number so that I may contact him before we boarded our plane back to the USA to follow up on my husbands labs and ask any questions about his care that was needed. Thank you so much for taking care of my husband during his emergency."

"I recently had surgery here and can only speak positively of my experience. The Urology department is just amazing. I was treated professionally and compassionately by all, from Dr. Weikert and Dr. Georgi to the nursing team to case management. Having had nightmare experiences with surgery in Berlin hospitals, I was terrified going into this procedure. Completely unnecessary! I was guided with the highest competence through the whole experience. Thank you!"
