Customer Reviews

"Brought my kid here for a check-up and seen the day after with an English speaking pediatrician. Everything is ok. The doctor is very kind. The staff were also helpful. The only problem is the ultrasound appointment takes 4 months to wait. Otherwise, everything is perfect."
"I had a full check-up at another hospital with good results, but I went to Severance for a second opinion due to past liver issues. The liver doctor there (donggun kim) was terrible; I waited 2 hours despite an appointment. He asked me to redo half of my tests, even though it was unnecessary. He wanted $ 3,000 worth of blood tests to find a potential cause of my past illness, which might not reveal anything after so much time. He refused to review my current results or give an opinion without further testing, then dismissed me and charged 88000 won."
"I went there because I was having an asthma attack — coughing, chest tightness, and shortness of breath. However, the triage nurse refused to treat me, saying my case wasn’t “urgent enough.” But I have asthma, and at that moment, it was really bad. My experience seeking treatment abroad, especially at this hospital, was terrible. They told me to wait until morning to go to the main hospital for a check-up. But imagine — all the pharmacies were closed, and they still refused to treat me or give me any prescription. It seemed like their doctor was just too lazy to even come check on a patient, leaving it all to the nurse instead. Absolutely ridiculous. I strongly advise anyone with international insurance not to ever go to this hospital."
"Really helpful for foreigners. Once you go in, go left of the welcome desk and walk straight down, there is a fully English doctors service. They do a full check if you’d like and make sure you have everything you need. You can also ask for a second opinion if you’d like. Really helpful"
"Went here as a walk-in due to acute gastroenteritis. Be prepared to wait if you're a walk-in, as they obviously have booked slots to attend, but I only had to wait around 30 minutes. This was fantastic and I don't think is the norm. The consultation was fast and what you'd expect from a good medical centre. After the consultation I got my medication from the outpatient pharmacy right next door in 20 minutes or so. The level of English was good from all the staff. Overall one of the best experiences with healthcare while traveling."
