"The largest hospital in the entire Middle East provides the latest, most advanced medical treatments, to the patients from around the world. Sheba Medical Center provides a multitude of specialists that work together to bring individualized care to each of the patients. Sheba Medical Center’s Medical Tourism Division provides world class medicine with a personal touch to patients from across the globe. We treat every patient like its only patient, providing the hospital’s Clinical Continuum of Care (CCC)."

"I’m extremely disappointed by what I experienced at the Department of Medical Tourism at Sheba Medical Center. During my visit, I saw staff using a public computer in the lobby to handle patient emails and download confidential documents. Anyone could walk up to this PC—including patients and visitors. I was even given unsupervised access and could see other patients’ private emails. The employees seemed to have no understanding of basic security. They assumed closing the browser was enough to log out, which it definitely isn’t. When I raised concerns, they were rude and told me to leave instead of taking it seriously. This is a huge privacy risk and completely unacceptable for any medical facility, let alone one with Sheba’s reputation. I’ve revoked any access I had previously granted and expect them to fix these issues immediately. If you care about the security of your personal information, I’d think twice before trusting this department with your data."

"I have experienced chronic illness and I have experienced the doctors at Tel HaShomer. I recommend not being born. With the exception of one, the physicians I met with during my program were devoid of empathy. They didn’t seem to show any compassion, let alone hear me out. A lot of expensive 3-minute visits that led to dead-ends. Furthermore, the staff-patient communication is poor. Be prepared to not know what you owe them financially until the day of the visit (and surprise, it’s extremely expensive— even if you are Israeli) This program is a money making machine. I recommend it only if you are looking to spend months on end in Israel without help. If you have Long Covid or any other post-viral/post-med condition this program is a solid no."
