"I had a very positive experience at the SSMC Emergency Department. The care I received was excellent and timely. I suddenly felt chest pain, and ECG was immediately done for me, I was place in Resus 4 for close monitoring. Dr. Salma and Dr. Shanon were both professional, compassionate, and took great care of me throughout my visit. Special thanks to Nurse Abrar for providing genuine tender loving care and making me feel comfortable and well supported during my time in the emergency department. "⸻ I would like to express my deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) for the exceptional and life-saving care provided to my baby. We came from the UK simply to visit family and celebrate our baby’s first birthday. We never imagined that our baby would be rushed to the ICU. It was extremely shocking and emotionally overwhelming for us. Exactly one year ago, on the same date and the same time, we was in NICU staying there for more than three months. Facing a similar situation again, in a different country, brought back painful memories and left us very scared and anxious about our baby’s life. From the moment we arrived at the emergency department, the response was incredibly fast, organized, and professional. The prompt action taken by the emergency team truly saved my baby’s life. I have never witnessed such a quick and effective emergency response, even in my home country. The facilities, systems, and coordination at SSMC genuinely inspired me. I am deeply thankful to the PICU nurses Sarah, Teenu, Tina, and Karitika, male nurse whose care, kindness, and dedication gave us comfort and hope during the most difficult moments. I am also extremely grateful to Dr. Ammar and the entire PICU team for their expertise, compassion, and tireless efforts. What touched me the most was seeing how every patient was treated equally, with respect, dignity, and genuine care. Trusting SSMC never disappointed us. Because of the incredible work of the doctors, nurses, and staff, my baby is safe today. I will forever remain thankful to this hospital for giving my child another chance at life.
