"I’m a foreigner that got my ICL done here. If you can’t speak Japanese, you need to bring along a translator. Examination took about 4 hours. There were a lot of people here for the eye examination. It’s like a factory where you do the test stages by stages and wait at the waiting area for your name to be called up for the next test. If you decided to do it, you’ll have to make payment/deposit roughly half of the package price. In my case, the ICL package I did cost 440000yen. Then they will order the lens for you. 2 weeks later, I was scheduled for the surgery. It was scary as your eyes are forcefully wide open and you had to stare into the light and not move your eye while the surgeon implant the lens under your cornea. The process for each eye took less than 5 mins. However the waiting period took about 1-2 hours as they had to dilate your pupils. After the surgery, you will be under monitor for a while in a rest area before heading home. The next day you’ll have to come back for a check up, follow by a week and a month and yearly. Overall procedure was smooth except a lot of waiting time as it’s always crowded."

"I inquired (in english) via website and was acknowledged by Sir Richard. Went on a Thurs to avoid the hordes of eye patients. Wed is probably better. Richard was very good in explaining the pre op and op and post op procedures. I have no Japanese language proficiency so his translation assistance was a major help. The small talk was also appreciated as it made me calm / not nervous before and after the lasik operation. You'll do some tests . I chose the amaris 1050 based on my own choice and the doctor recommended procedure. They won't force you on any procedure. There's going to be pain killer drops , then Took 2 seconds to laser my eye and all done. 10 mins close eye to rest . The duration of the laser really depends on your condition. The doctors are very knowledgeable. I got Ando sensei which was a big plus. The staff are also accommodating. Don't listen to the bad reviews, try it yourself and decide and and finally rid yourself of your glasses and contacts. Don't go on a weekend! Take care of your eyes everyone"

"I did the one day LASIK and was assisted through the whole process by Richard (someone give that man a raise!). He was nothing short of wonderful, detailed, and kind. Not only during the surgery day, but also answering my many questions before and after surgery. He understands the LASIK world in superb ways and is probably responsible for a lot of people choosing this clinic over others. Surgery wise - it was quick and painless. I had normal recovery and some discomfort the first two days, but by the end of the week post op, I could see and I now have better than 20/20 vision. I never thought this day would come and it’s all thanks to Richard, the nurses, doctors and the clinic. Highly highly recommend."

"A great clinic, a great service with a great profession from start to finish. Everything worked extraordinarily fine. I received my LASIK 3 weeks ago, and the results are as promised - my vision got better and better every day. Special cheers to Richard who takes care of everyone not able to speak Japanese and guides them through each step of the routine as well! Great guy who mentally holds your hand in the whole process. Highly recommended if you want to do LASIK in Japan. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼"

"I had my LASIK surgery done at this clinic and was amazed at how professional and easy the service was. I came in for consultation at 11 o'clock, they go through check-up and readiness for a surgery until 15. They gave me a break of 2 hrs and when I came back, they proceeded with the surgery. Having to spend one day to get your eyesight back is mind-blowing. By 19 I was ready to go home having everything completed successfully. You go through 2 procedures when having an operation, first they perform the surgery and they lead you to a different room to perform the second stage. The person who was explaining only told us it is going to take a few seconds, but having to go through the second procedure uninformed was a bit stressful. Overall, it was an amazing journey and I would even recommend it for tourists, just reserve one day for your surgery. Outstanding job by the competent staff and doctors. Highly recommend for everyone. Exceeded my expectations by a mile."
