However, Dr. Ho Kok Sen handled everything so professionally and carefully that the procedure went much more smoothly than I expected. I felt very well taken care of throughout the treatment. "I completed my braces treatment with Dr Soh here in preparation for double jaw surgery (supposedly Dr Ho Kok Sen). While the braces work itself with Dr Soh was okay, the administrative side was incredibly frustrating. The clinic's rigid appointment system offers little flexibility for working adults, forcing patients to conform to strict scheduling constraints, which ultimately extended my overall treatment timeline much longer than necessary. My main issue was with the surgical side. Being an AIA insurance panel clinic for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Dr Ho), the overall approach felt heavily transactional. In hindsight, this feels like a fundamental flaw in the insurance panel system itself for complex procedures. Between the clinic's outdated equipment and what I felt was a lack of basic bedside manners and genuine consideration ahead of a major procedure, I felt a deep lack of confidence. This ultimately led me to switch to a different surgeon and clinic before my scheduled surgery date (August 2024). My surgery was successfully completed elsewhere, and switching clinics showed me a massive contrast in care. My advice to others is to carefully consider your options outside the panel network. Above all, prioritize finding a surgeon and a system that puts your best interest first, ensuring you feel completely supported and secure throughout the process."

"I decided to come to Specilist dental group after seeing many positive reviews. I was having lots of pain in my mouth and their staff was nice to quickly slot me in for a same day appointment with Dr Ho who’s an oral maxillofacial specialist. Dr Ho was calm, patient and very experienced doctor who could diagnose my problem and gave immediate solution to my mouth problem. I was able to eat and brush teeth with so much lesser pain after seeing Dr Ho and recovered really fast within a couple of days. Their staffs are also very friendly and empathetic. I had to postpone my review appointment to another date due to a family emergency and the staff was quick to help with my rescheduling appointment , even showing concern to me due to my family emergency to attend to. I would say they are reasonably priced and everyone of them here serve with a heart for patients. Highly recommend them!"
