"I had an appointment at 1:30 PM, but I wasn't seen until around 3:00 PM. The clinic is called "Urgent Care," but I'm not sure what exactly is urgent about a 90-minute wait. To make things worse, the nurse couldn't find my appointment in the system at first and seemed ready to charge me with higher rate (even it's expensive already ) For anyone planning to go there: make sure you book an appointment in advance rather than walking in, and clear your schedule beforehand. Don't plan any urgent errands or important commitments around your appointment time, because you may end up waiting much longer than expected"

"I can’t rave enough as to how amazing this hospital is. At first, I am quite nervous with the prices because after all, it’s St. Lukes— gold standard in hospitals. But it’s a matter of life and I must say, they are very very efficient. They took care of my partner with utmost dignity and urgency. Then because we have a Maxicare card, the Maxicare staff went to us and briefed us. They also coordinated already in getting my partner a room, which is part of the HMO. Soon, we were transferred to our private room. In my partner’s CT scan, endoscopy and colonoscopy, they started on time. Very professional. There was no waiting. We were also informed on all the procedures, meds etc. Dr Laya is amazing, and I must say one of the best gastro doctors in the Philippines. She also has a degree in the US, so it only goes to show how internationally competent the doctors are here. She's not only brilliant; she made sure my partner is at ease with everything. The nurses were attentive and again, I cannot emphasize how amazing their level of care is. May dignidad when they care for the patients. Within 48 hrs, they identified what’s wrong with my partner, clipped what needed to be clipped and gave her IV antibiotics. On the 4th day, we were sent home. Coming from the horror story I observed with other hospitals, I thought the billing will take the whole day. I am also expecting an expensive bill because there were 4 doctors who took on my partner’s case: endo, gastro, surgeon (on standby) and internal medicine. Lo and behold, it’s not at all! Less than P50k for PF. For 4 doctors. 8am, the gastro doctor checked on my partner. 10am I received a call from Maxicare— lo and behold, while we were waiting at the comfort of our room (watching Disney TV haha), St. Lukes and Maxicare already coordinated in the background. Clearance, discharge papers— everything. Maxicare just called me and said, they maxed out the coverage (I expected it) and there’s just a remaining balance we need to settle. I am surprised, I thought the total cost is 2x more than what I guessed (Makati Med being a benchmark). I am surprised St. Lukes is reasonably priced. Worth it. Then it took me less than 30 mins to settle the bill. All paperwork is done, I just needed to sign. Before lunch, we’re out. Even the cost is more competitively priced than another top-tier hospital— 2x more yung cost sa kabila sa blood cross matching. And may kusa si St. Lukes to adjust unused items, whereas in the other hospital, kelangan line by line defense pa sa billing. Once we were discharged, there’s a bell boy who helped us with our things and a Discharge lounge. Unlimited coffee, tea, fruit-infused water and pastries. Am I in a hotel? Ot felt like it! Anyway, I am so pleased with St, Lukes. The level of care, may malasakit talaga. I am so pleased that I even told the billing person— “I made the right decision bringing my partner here”."

"I had a very positive experience at the hospital’s Emergency Department. From the moment I arrived, the staff were attentive, professional, and compassionate during a very stressful situation. Special thanks to Nurse Dani and her team for going above and beyond in providing exceptional care. She was kind, patient, and very reassuring throughout the entire process. Her professionalism, empathy, and genuine concern for patients truly made a difference and helped us feel more at ease during a difficult time. Thank you to the entire Emergency team for your dedication and quality service."

"Executive Check-Up Experience at St. Luke’s BGC I scheduled my executive check-up (ECU) at St. Luke’s BGC through my company, and within 24 hours, they had already responded and confirmed my preferred date. Even before the appointment, I received clear email instructions and text message reminders on what to do and what to expect—very reassuring and well-organized. On the day of my ECU, everything ran smoothly from the moment I arrived. I was given clear directions, attended to immediately, and ushered into an office to complete paperwork. Once done, I was brought to what I can only describe as a buffet area (definitely not your typical hospital cafeteria). They served breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a wide variety of dishes, fruits, drinks, and desserts. The food was tasty and far from standard hospital fare—great, though admittedly not diet-friendly. What truly stood out was the room. It felt more like a hotel than a hospital—spacious, pristine, and very comfortable. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, and amenities included a Nespresso machine, a fridge, and even a safe for valuables. Upon check-in, I was also given a detailed schedule of all my tests—and impressively, they actually stuck to it. Wait times were minimal, and everything happened as scheduled. After completing all the tests, I received my results promptly along with clear checkout instructions. As a nice bonus, they allowed me to take home the pillows I used (since they would be discarded anyway) and even gave me a fruit basket as a thank-you for signing up for the ECU. The only downside was parking. It took several rounds of going up and down the parking floors to find a spot, and I had to move my car midday to secure a safer space. That said, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience. Overall, this was an excellent experience. I have no real complaints and am very happy I chose St. Luke’s BGC for my executive check-up. I will definitely be coming back next year."

"Been here since last year, December. the journey was smooth although the treatment was really painful. My cousin who was diagnosed with AML (acute myaloid leukemia), had treatment and continue doing treatments til this january. We were under the foundation and very lucky to be one. the hospital treatment can compare to paying patients. this is a high end hospital with excellent service and we are so thankful for the wonderful treatment we had. thank you to the foundation, the good nurser, the professional doctors and the social workers who made my cousin's cancer journey smooth and comfort. not all of the poor people in the philippines gets the same so I am grateful and thankful we were given such privilege."
