"The doctors can speak good enough english. Facilities are good. Staff barely speaks english. The problem is the appointment system is very unfriendly and rigid and does not accommodate patients. Only few doctors and I cannot change doctors when timing is not good. It does not deserve to be a high-class hospital catered for expats."

"Medilocus offers a range of outpatient services in a variety of specialities in English and Japanese. They are affiliated with and run by St Luke's International Hospital so that any onward care can be directly arranged to ensure a smooth transition if additional services are needed. The clinic is outfitted to a high specification and a generally very pleasant environment. I have always found their care to be exceptional though I understand some services have waiting times for appointments due to their popularity"

"Its a clean, pleasant and well run clinic but almost impossible to get a same day or same week appointment. Often the first appointment for internal medicine will be over a week later...which is not ideal. But once you have an appointment, it's lovely."

"Great medical facility that offers a wide variety of services, and has staff with good English. For English-speakers and those with low-level Japanese (like me), I can definitely recommend it if you need to have the likes of MRIs or other types of technical examinations. As others have mentioned, it's popular so getting your doctor to give you a reference (and possibly help you schedule a visit) is advisable."

"Great doctors and nurses but the reception is just plain horrible. Why does a clinic receptionist feel she has the right to vet me on why I want an appointment with a physician when I have a genuine problem? I am happy to discuss my symptoms with a health worker but a receptionist on a powertrip?? I didn’t feel comfortable giving her my personal medical information, particularly when she had my personal details. This review only gets one star because my experience was very upsetting."
