"What a brilliant hospital. My wife developed an infection (source unknown) in September. Everything about the care she received at SVPH was outstanding - the private room, meals, the nurses, cleaners, meal delivery staff. Everybody was polite, respectful, and understanding. We felt like they actually cared about your recovery. She was able to get rest and sleep, which is extremely important in any hospital."

"I had a 7 day stay after my surgery. I was very emotional when I arrived, from the moment I met the concierge to when I was admitted the service was amazing. My surgery was running late and I was extremely anxious and emotional all nurses helped me and took so much time to make me feel safe and comfortable.. I was on level 8 . The nurses all amazing. Kind caring helpful always available. Working overtime and never ever complaining, always smiling and happy. Not only that my room was Spotless. The ladies that clean, the ladies and men that give you food. All kind and caring. This hospital was an experience, and after 7 days of feeling so safe and so looked after I actually didn’t want to go home."

"I really want to express my gratitude to the reception lady who's name is Michele, young lady with long black hair, she went above and beyond for me on my mother's surgery day, 4th of Dec. My mother spent prolonged time in recovery room after her knee replacement which was very weird and so unexpected, I got anxious, my old father got anxious, we didn't know what happened, so I went up to Michele who was at the reception desk that day, hoping to see if she could see any updates in the system, she was extremely nice and helpful, she comforted me calmly, then initiated calls to the surgery team to make enquiries multiple times, without me asking, then roughly 2 or 3 hours later we were told we could go up to my mother ward first, the delay was due to her big reaction to sedation. After we've gone up to her ward, my mother was still in recovery, Michele went up to orthopaedic surgery level to check us out, if that was not what can be called excellent care and patient service then I don't know what it can be called. Thank you Michele we were lucky to have your that day, much appreciated!!"

"Outstanding experience from start to end. The staff at reception and check in were friendly and supportive, the elderly volunteer who walked me across to the day clinic was lovely and the nurses were exemplary. The waiting areas were comfy and the whole system was on time and professional. My doctor and anaesthetist were awesome too. I also want to mention the beautiful artworks, it is like a gallery. I would like to say I hope to go back one day but even with the best review really nobody wants to go back! 😂"

"The most efficient hospital i have ever stayed in. No waiting around, check in, operation procedure, staff and check out were amazing. All of the processes were fantastic. Food wasn't bad. Staff were efficient and empathetic. 10/10 for the staff from doctors to nurses to orderly and food service. It would definitely be my first pick if I need to go in again."
