"I had a great experience here last week. I got food poisoning on Sunday night and went in to the hospital for help. I stayed for two nights and the doctors, nurses, and staff were caring, professional, and helpful. I don’t speak Spanish and they did their best to accommodate my questions and needs. My primary doctor was wonderful. I left the hospital feeling well enough to fly home that day. Thank you to the team at Star Medica Roma."
"Very poor customer service, all their staff were usually in “meetings” and they only had one guy attending all the people in the administration area. There were 4 people waiting and they saw us there but did nothing to help out their colleague."
"My son sprained his wrist. We were in and out of Urgencias in about two hours after an X-ray determined that he didn't have a broken bone. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. I speak intermediate level Spanish, but the radiologist spoke to my son in English and I think if I had needed help in English, it would have been offered. When I needed documentation for my insurance company, they promptly responded within 5 business days. I would go to Star Medica again if in CDMX."
"My experience with this hospital has been extremely disappointing and stressful. The staff and administration have shown a complete lack of professionalism and urgency. I have been requesting my mother’s discharge papers and detailed invoices for days, and despite numerous calls and follow-ups, I keep getting transferred between departments and different doctors — each giving me a different answer. This kind of disorganization and disregard for patients’ rights is unacceptable. It genuinely feels like they are withholding information or trying to avoid accountability. No hospital that claims to be a “private institution” should operate with such carelessness and lack of transparency. Their billing practices also seem questionable, and I can’t shake the feeling that we were taken advantage of. It should never take this long to obtain basic medical records and billing information. Please take my experience seriously and think twice before seeking treatment here. The stress and frustration are simply not worth it. I am still waiting for a proper response — and that should tell you everything. Please go somewhere else to receive treatment. Stay away from this place."
"I would like to express my sincere appreciation to all the staff at Star Médica who were involved in my care. While on vacation in Mexico City, I received a late report from my doctor in Toronto informing me that I had a fractured arm and urgently needed medical attention. I immediately went to your clinic. Despite my very limited Spanish, the reception team was incredibly kind and patient. The nurses and radiology staff were professional and attentive. Dr. Julia Alely Gomez Astudillo provided clear explanations and excellent treatment. Thank you to everyone who helped me during such a stressful time. I am truly grateful for your compassion and professionalism."
