"Khun Muk came highly recommended by my PT coach Marie at STAYFit, who had a hamstring injury and credited Khun Muk with her recovery. Knee injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation are her speciality — which made her a natural fit after my meniscectomy. What sets her apart from most Phuket physios is structure. The typical experience here is warm compress, ultrasound or electrical pulse treatment, some exercises — and no clear sense of what you're working toward. Session after session with no visible finish line. Khun Muk works completely differently. She started with a proper assessment and immediately identified that my knee extension was poor. That became my first benchmark. She worked on it manually — manipulating the joint to improve range of motion — alongside targeted exercises, and crucially, she explained exactly why each exercise matters for extension. Once I hit that goal, we move to the next benchmark, progressing stage by stage until I'm cleared for full activity. Having worked with multiple sports teams, she's very much at home with athletic recovery and understands what it takes to get back to performance, not just basic function. With Khun Muk as my physio and Marie as my strength coach, I look forward to being able to get back to my workout routines. One thing that surprised Khun Muk: my orthopaedic surgeon at Bangkok Hospital Phuket hadn't referred me to physio at all.
