"First of all, everyone was very nice, easy to talk to, and professional. The facilities were extremely clean and modern, and connected to CIMA Hospital. They answered all my questions and kept me informed throughout. They checked on me after my treatment and again that evening. Their prices were very reasonable compared to other stem cell clinics in Escazu, and the quality of their product seemed to be on par with the best. I would highly recommend them, and I would go back myself. The treatment itself was pain-free, due to perfect anethsia. In the evening I felt pain in my low back, the injection area, but took a Tylenol and went to bed. The next day I was able to walk around although I was still stiff and achy. I was told by the staff and doctor to anticipate some pain, so it wasn't a surprise. I'm looking forward to see how the treatment works on my low back pain in the next few months. "This review is far overdue, but better late than never. Our son has autism and we opted for another round of stem cells after limited success at a different facility in a neighboring country. We are so glad that we opted to go to Costa Rica for the second round. The level of care provided by Dr. Chaves, Jose, and the entire staff is second to none. They are amazing.
