"My appointment with Dr. Trung Le at Sunnybrook Hospital (ENT) on December 19, 2025, was one of the most traumatic experiences of my life. The contrast in care was immediate and appalling. I overheard him treating the Asian patient in the room next to mine with kindness and care, yet when he attended to me, his demeanor shifted to hostility and arrogance. I strongly suspect this differential treatment was racially motivated. His negligence is terrifying. He ignored my greeting, refused to read my file, and shouted over me to claim I was 'fine' before even examining me. Because I advocated for myself and insisted on an exam, he was forced to admit the truth: I actually have a hole in my ear and 30% hearing loss. He missed this initially because he simply didn't care to look. Once his negligence was exposed, Dr. Le resorted to fear-mongering, trying to scare me out of the procedure by claiming I would lose my hearing entirely. He is arrogant, dismissive, and unsafe. I genuinely believe he is capable of harming patients he dislikes. Do not trust the 5-star reviews; my experience was a nightmare. I will be reporting this behavior to the relevant authorities and will escalate this matter as much as I can."

"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TRIAGE AND STAFF.... DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A PLEASANT BIRTHING EXPERIENCE.... let me explain... my wife was due to give birth on Dec 20th/2025 but the staff kept telling us that we dont have enough beds to induce your wife... my wife went through HELL ... SHE THREW UP 12 times ... we BEGGED for epidural... they said no.. our anesthesiologoist is busy ( she was busy all night)... after 18 hours of waiting in triage and giving MORPHINE to my wife for pain, they took us to the birthing unit... which we still waited another 5 hours for epidural... (at the end it didnt work)... suddenly around 4: 30 am nurse that was monitoring my wife said the baby is coming out... and then she told my wife " WAIT WE DONT HAVE A DOCTOR TO HELP YOU RIGHT NOW" ...( we were shocked to hear this AT A HOSPITAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) ... THE nurse TURNED MY WIFE TO HER SIDE SO THE BABY WOULDN'T COME OUT ..... and we had to wait until a doctor was free... around 8 am we were desperate so I emailed my owns wife's doctor please come and help ... he told me he will be there soon and deliver the baby... meanwhile the birthing unit doctors were all MIA... finally my wife gave birth around 11 am BY HER OWN DOCTOR( not the one that was working on his shift and none of the other doctors helped).... the experience of giving birth is supoose to be pleasant ... however sunnybrook have destroyed that experience for us... I WOULD NEVER COME BACK TO THIS HOSPITAL EVER IF MY WIFE AND I WERE TO HAVE A KID AGAIN... good luck to anyone going there to give birth in tbsi hospital... the doctors in triage showed NO RESPECT OR SYMPATHY AND they acted like they know it all..... LEARN SOME BEDSIDE MANNER PLZ AND ACTUALLY HELP YOUR PATIENTS...."

"I wanted to thank the Emergency and Burn Staff. Right from the beginning when my wife and I entered the Hospital they were so helpful even though they were very busy. Greg was efficient in getting us registered quickly. Dr. Wallace with the burn unit was very knowledgable and guided me with his first hand experience. Dr. Romero had his staff look after me as per our discussions. Simin and Abbey were the ones doing most of the work. Dr. Patel also made arrangements for me to stay overnight. The staff made me very comfortable for my overnight stay. Hannah and Isabelle took over and were consistent with my previous day's experience. I had Burn Unit doctor Kamani check in and confirm I was still ok. Makil helped remove my IV and sent me on my way. Dr. Jordi Klein was able to pick up on an undiagnosed heart murmur that my wife had. Everyone was great. Strongly recommend. These people Care!"

"Child birth - c-section. Dr.Noor ladhani, I had a repeat planned c section here. Doctors are always busy. Atleast 2 hours wait for consultations, I got use to it. She sees just for few minutes , don’t expect comforting positive response on your questions. She will be very honest. She will do all the necessary tests when required. I wanted a vaginal delivery but she told me it’s risky and went with her advice. The ultrasound technician were great too. The day of c section, they did take couple of hours to prepare me, anesthesiologist came and spoke to me, about the risks and the procedure. They gave me a spinal block, not epidural, I had few side effects like severe shivering and vomits while in surgery. Baby was out soon. Dr ladhani did great job. I got UTI after few days for which the admins of dr ladhani were not replying to my emails. The administration were little rude. Then I got antibiotics prescribed from my family doctor. The nurses were sooo good. I am so thankful. All the nurses were excellent, they helped whenever I needed. They gave me strong painkillers whenever I asked. They gave formula to baby for the first time, they showed how to feed. It’s quite a long walk to the rooms, after c section it can be difficult to walk. There are lots of rooms. Overall great experience."
