"My husband suddenly collapsed with a heart problem and was brought to this hospital by ambulance. As soon as he arrived, he was treated, tested, and transferred to Semmelweis University that same day. We are foreigners and I don't speak Hungarian, but the medical staff in charge responded in English. I am very grateful. Thank you so much."

"I first was taken in as àn emergency patient eight year on a Saturday evening and the tests started almost immediately. The duty doctor looked over and gave me assessment which proved to be spot on. This was after being incorrectly assessed on a number of occasions in the UK. I was admitted for tests and eight years later I returned to the same place for dialysis. The staff have been great."

"The most viel and disgusting treatment I have ever seen. I went in w my partner because they were very sick and weak for days now. They can’t go to work they can’t move everything hurts. We sat for a while and they went to check on them and they came back a minute later saying let’s go. Apparently they told him that why did he come in to the hospital he just has the flu or something and to just go home and rest. The receptionists kept sighing and rolling their eyes. I asked to speak with them a nurse came out and I told her that he hasn’t been able to move and that he at least needs a prescription to something to relieve his pain, or an antibiotic. She said no no then slammed the door on my face. If this happened where I’m from the receptionist and nurse would be fired on the spot. The fact that this is the normal here is disgusting. You should be ashamed to call yourselves care workers, and I’m happy saying this to their face."

"The beds smell. Sharing the toilet and eating in the same room is awful. They empty urine bags into the toilet, scattering it everywhere. The food is very inadequate and unhygienic. The nurses are very inconsiderate; they turn on music and laugh at night."

"We've been here yesterday with a strong neck pain of my girlfriend (whi us foreigner), her private insurance sent us specifically here. At the entrance, the receptionists question was why did we come to this one, and they talked not too friendly. It was a weekend evening, ended up at an out of hours doctor on duty. We were the only ones there, they handled us very rigidly, unfriendly, impatiently, adding some comments regularly. At least they gave a painkiller injection. After the treatment, wanted to go to the toilet, this is what was there (the small you can imagine)..."
