"I am in a same sex relationship and I think this clinic would probably be best for people in a heterosexual relationship who are struggling with fertility. We wanted an Indian donor because my partner is Indian. When I spoke to the donor consultant from the clinic and there were no Indian donors available, she said “can’t you pick someone with dark skin and it’ll be close enough”. This didn’t sit particularly well with us so we chose another clinic and have had a great experience. We had no problems with the doctor at this clinic it was more the donor experience that was challenging. Despite the comment below from Connect IVF - I can confirm that the inappropriate comment made to me was by connect IVF’s donor services coordinator, not by any of the donor banks directly."
