"I sought care at this clinic while experiencing a significant cold during a vacation in Tokyo and appreciated being seen the same day. However, the visit itself felt rushed. During the exam, my temperature was not taken, gloves were not used when swabbing my throat, and it did not appear that handwashing occurred between patients. I was prescribed pain relievers only, and my symptoms continued to worsen after the visit. In hindsight, I believe additional treatment options, such as a decongestant, may have helped manage my symptoms more effectively. The doctor who provided my care was Dr. Ryu Sasae."

"I’ve been going to here for several months, and the care has been outstanding. Unlike other clinics in Tokyo where I’ve faced overwhelming bureaucracy and even been denied service without an interpreter, here the experience has been the complete opposite. Staff members speak excellent English, which makes a huge difference when dealing with medical issues abroad. More importantly, Dr. Lomax and his team provide care that is not only professional but also genuinely kind and compassionate. They take the time to explain things clearly and make you feel comfortable every step of the way. Finding this clinic has been such a relief, and I highly recommend it to anyone in Tokyo looking for exceptional medical care."

"Was so thankful to find an English speaking doctor available for emergencies during the new year holidays. Dr Ivor was thorough and took attentive precautions to ensure my son’s post surgery was looked after and took time to explain the process. We are grateful and will recommend this clinic."

"Unfortunately, my experience with this clinic was disappointing, mainly due to the front desk and administrative staff. The billing process was handled poorly, and the staff appeared insufficiently trained to work effectively with international insurance companies. There was also a lack of willingness to cooperate to resolve the issue, which caused unnecessary stress. This is particularly unfortunate because there are some genuinely good doctors at the clinic. However, the unprofessional behavior and inefficiency of the front desk staff damages the clinic’s reputation and undermines the quality of care overall. While it is helpful that the doctors speak English, that alone is not enough to compensate for the poor administrative experience. There are many better-run private clinics in Tokyo, including in Minato, where patients can receive professional service and clear communication in English"

"Apart from being super overpriced targeting at vulnerable foreigners who cannot speak Japanese, the waiting time was way too long despite having an appointment. The wait is worse than public hospitals. The receptionists’ attitude were also very rude. A rude shock considering how the Japanese are known for their service standards. I’ve been to Japanese pharmacies before and their attitudes are way better than this clinic."
