"I arrived at 5 a.m. with a fever over 40 degrees and pain all over my body. They refused to attend me, telling me it wasn't an emergency and that I should find a general practitioner and make an appointment. Yeah, right, at 5 a.m. Sometimes you have to use logic, but it seems their intelligence goes on vacation."
"I'm from the Uk and was travelling and staying in a hostel nearby. I wasnt feeling well that day i just kept feeling worse and worse until it got to the point in the night where the pain was unbearable. I wasnt sure what else to do otherwise than come to the a+e, and I was terrified because I don't speak German and wasn't sure what to do with the insurance and paperwork. Everyone was so helpful from the moment me and my boyfriend arrived. The receptionist helped us sort out our insurance and paperwork, all the doctors and nurses were so thorough and made me feel comfortable and safe the whole time. They were quick with all the tests and their English was really good which helped us feel more comfortable in understanding what was going on. When they took me back to the bed ward the nurse was so kind and even offered to get me anything and a second blanket. I have nothing bad to say at all, their service was amazing all the way through. (everything was a LOT better and more organised than the NHS in the UK...). Thankyou so much :)"
"The longest waiting time ever!!! 😤 I cut my finger and came to the emergency department around 12:45. It’s now almost 17:30, and I’m still here!!! When we arrived, we had to wait for 1 hour just to be admitted. Finally, I was taken to the examination room, but after 45 minutes, all they did was disinfect the wound and put on a bandage. Then I was told to go back to the waiting room. Now I’ve been waiting for another hour!!! I feel like I’ve spent an extremely long time waiting and still haven’t received proper treatment. 😒"
"I am Japanese. I collapsed in Munich last May, had an operation here and was hospitalised for two weeks. I was travelling and thought it would be bad... but the hospital staff were very kind, the doctors were gentle and I still remember that my difficult feeling gradually cleared up. Thanks to this hospital, I am now living well in Japan. I am really grateful."
"Today I went for a check after days of pain at my arm, receiving nothing more than some bends, advices on not coming anymore for such irrelevant problems, and no days of rest after expressly saying I’m doing a job where I need to move heavy weights. Highly not recommended."
"Today I was randomly thinking how lucky I was to have delivered my baby at LMU. They gave the best care to me during five days of labour. It was long and a complicated birth. But the midwives there made me feel so comfortable and well taken care of. If it wasn’t for those midwives , I wouldn’t have given a normal birth. They made me feel confident throughout. I’m so thankful for their care ."
