"I flew from the east coast of the US to come to this clinic for Dr Juan Fuentes. I got nose fillers for the very first time (first time for any kind of fillers and face procedure so I was a little nervous). My nose was fractured long time ago and I’m still saving for surgery, so fillers is a temporary and affordable (affordable out of the US) option. Everyone was so nice, the staff who set up my appointment and answered all my questions before I came there. I really appreciate the pick up from the SD airport, and the staffs guest service when I was there for the appointment. The clinic is nice and clean, and Dr Fuentes has a lot of knowledge and experience. He also addressed a small dermatology issue for me and I really appreciate it. Overall a great experience and I will absolutely return for any other appointments and highly recommend to others!"

"I went to VIDA in July to have a tummy tuck and some liposuction. I did SO MUCH research beforehand, but it couldn't have prepared me for how great this place really is. Beautiful building, friendly staff, and my surgeon? An absolute genius. Dr. Castañeda is professional and confident. He was so sure of his ability to give me exactly what I wanted during my video consult and then when I got to Tijuana. He knew he could give me the outcome I envisioned, and he went above and beyond. My results are shocking!!! I knew it would be good, but I look at myself now in a completely different light. His confidence has rubbed off on me. When I say this man has changed my life, I mean it from the bottom of my heart. On top of that, they take care of everything for you! Shuttle back and forth to the airport, the recovery boutique with all meals provided, 24-hour nursing on site, they cleaned me and dressed me and took such good care of me during my week stay. I would recommend VIDA over and over, and specifically get on Dr. Castañeda's schedule before the rest of the world figures out what an excellent surgeon he is and fills up his calendar. I would go to him again in the future. I would not even consider another surgeon. UPDATED review 3 months after surgery. All of the stuff I wrote above is still true. But I have had a hell of a time getting responses to my questions once I got home. I send email after email asking and get no response. This is particularly disappointing considering how well everything else went."

"I recently had an upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Quiroz, and I’m already thrilled with my results. The entire process at VIDA was seamless—everything was handled for me, and I never had to stress about a thing. My consultation was very thorough, and both Dr. Quiroz and my medical coordinator, Rocio, took the time to answer all of my questions and ease any concerns I had. VIDA also provided transportation from San Diego to the medical center for every appointment, which made everything even more convenient. The staff throughout the entire facility were warm, kind, and incredibly professional. I stayed in the recovery boutique, which is located in the same building as the reception and operating room—so no need to travel to a hotel after surgery. The boutique was spotless, comfortable, and very welcoming. The nurses took excellent care of me, brought my medications on time, and checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable. And the food was delicious! I highly recommend VIDA to anyone considering a procedure. My experience was outstanding from start to finish."

"Getting a medical procedure done is a big deal so when I started this journey, I researched quite a few different clinics both in the US and in Mexico. When I finally narrowed it down to a few clinics, my consultation with Dr. Casteñeda sealed the deal for me. I had a gut instinct that he needed to be my doctor, and I wasn’t wrong. From the moment of the consultation, the staff has been in contact with me. They made arrangements for transportation, overnight stays and 24/7 nurse care. I was really nervous because I made this trip alone, but I was never really alone, the staff was always attentive of me. The coordinating staff is exceptional, Dr. Castañeda is amazing and made himself available to answer my questions and check up on me. The staff and nurses at their recovery boutique are that of a five star resort, they offered remarkable customer service. Meals were provided during my stay, and they are not your typical hospital food, this was fresh homemade food. I will continue to follow up over the next few months through virtual consults, so it’s not a “patient is released, our part is done, call us if you need anything” type of situation, which makes me feel more at ease. I could go on and on about how amazing Vida Wellness is, but you’ll just need to experience it for yourself. I am starting my my round of savings to come back and have another procedure done. Couldn’t be more happy with Vida Wellness, I’m glad I followed my instinct."

"I had an extended tummy tuck and BBL on Friday November 28, 2025 with Dr. Bucio and his fantastic team. My story began with a text consultation with the coordinator Lucinda. She was very helpful and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Then she helped me coordinate a video consultation with Dr. Bucio. He was a very pleasant to talk to, professional, courteous, kind and trustworthy. He took time to explain to me all the steps in detail about the surgery. He got me with his great sense of humor and the love his has for his profession! After the video consultation , I was assigned to the amazing patient coordinator Diana. She was great to work with because she took care of all the paperwork process, transportation, and recovery room accommodations. The day of the surgery Dr. Bucio and his super star nurse Alex talked to me to make sure that I was feeling good and safe. They were very kind and their sense of humor helped me alot to get rid of the nerves! I requested to play Juan Gabriel songs during my surgery and they did! My surgery also went smoothly and without any complications thanks to the amazing anesthesiologist Dr. Peña! Dr. Peña is an Angel she made feel safe and cared for. She did such as great job that I didn't feel when the anesthesia was injected and I felt no pain prior the surgery and didn't have any pain afterwards. Dr. Peña does an outstanding job 👏 As part of my journey, I spent 7 days at their recovery room, recovery boutique which is in the same building. Everyone at recovery boutique did an incredible job during my stay. All the nurses were caring, compassionate and professional. They helped me with my medications, feed me delicious healthy food and helped me bathe. They go above and beyond to make sure that you are healthy, comfortable and all medical needs are met. I am very grateful that I chose Vida Wellness and Dr. Bucio and his incredible team! Vida Wellness is the best option because everything is in the same building, provide transportation from and to the border and they just make everything easier and stress free!
