"I had a problem with the restrooms not being very clean."

"I came to Viet Duc hospital with inguinal hernia. I was choosing between different hospitals, and I ultimately chose VIet Duc because Dr Thang speaks good English, and because he said my surgery is possible with laparoscopy, while Thu Cuc and Medlatec said that only open surgery is viable in my case. I'll mention different pros and cons of Viet Duc hospital: Pros: Even tho pretty much all the nurses couldn't speak English, they did their best to attend to my requests and google translate whatever was necessary. Despite the fact that I probably was the only foreigner there at the time, never have I felt abandoned by the staff. The cost is very affordable. Last but not least -- the staff was very professional. Especially the anesthesiologist and Dr Thang. The surgery went so well, I even said "no" to the painkillers afterwards, because I didn't need them. Cons: The bed is small. I've spent 2 full nights there, and I got 5 hours of sleep in BOTH nights, put together. I'm 2 meters tall, the beds aren't made for people my size haha Unlike in the West, the hospital doesn't provide pillows or towels - gotta bring your own. Overall, the cons are small, and what really matters is the professionalism of the people to whom you literally entrust your health and life. And they did an amazing job. I highly recomment Viet Duc hospital (even though I hope I won't need to go there ever again haha), but make sure to bring EVERYTHING you need with you!"

"Slow and unprofessional service. A top hospital in Vietnam with only one MRI machine. Dozens of elderly and young people have to wait from morning till night and still haven't had their turn. I don't understand what we pay so many fees to the government for? It's shameful for a top hospital in Vietnam."
