"I spent Saturday night to early Sunday morning in an emergency room of this clinic. The wait times were not short, but its an ER so I expect nothing else. Everyone who I met along the way was really kind and caring, especially the gentleman at the reception - he was very positive and friendly. Thank you to all of the team."
"I was visiting from Canada in May 2021 during the pandemic when no one was traveling over the Atlantic. The family member (82 year old) got sick and end up in Vivantes am Urban hospital in emergency. The lady doctor was very polite explaining the situation with comforting words. The room was clean and in the following days when I was visiting, the safety procedures were in place. My German was much better during my teenage years, but the staff was kindly answering my questions in English. When leaving the hospital, the transportation was provided back to home. Thank you !"
"I had a great experience at this clinic. The medical staff were amazing - very professional, caring, and made me feel comfortable throughout. The only small thing to improve could be the scheduling of the pre-surgery check-up, but everything else was perfect!"
"My experience at Vivantes Klinikum Am Urban deserves zero stars. The staff is consistently rude and completely lacking empathy. While the doctors may be knowledgeable, they are extremely rigid and show little to no regard for patients as human beings. Communication is cold, dismissive, and at times outright disrespectful. I was scheduled for surgery after a fall on ice. The operation was postponed multiple times, once on the very day of the procedure. I had already been prepared for surgery, changed into a hospital gown, and was lying in bed waiting. Without proper explanation or apology, I was simply sent home. The level of disorganization and disregard for a patient’s physical and emotional state is unacceptable. A special mention goes to the woman in patient enrollment/accounting, who crossed every line of basic professionalism. She was openly rude and even made a joke about my physical appearance. That is beyond inappropriate and absolutely unacceptable in any medical setting. If you have a choice, avoid this hospital at all costs."
"In a time of an emergency and all the unsettling feelings that come with it, I can only say my experience at the hospital was good. I met the nicest gynaecologist who clearly knew what they were doing. They took me in immediately and I was well looked after and they took action quickly when needed. Since I had to stay a few nights in the hospital I also got to know the nurses a bit and they are lovely people. They always kept a smile on their faces and a light attitude which is very important for patients in heavy times. I am thankful for the help I received."
